Allthough i am a bit annoyed that all the top tiers are pokemon i have 0 access to since i don't own sword and shield. But after your recent video i fell in love with the double fish + ray espeed team. So keep going you are doing great work and its also just nice to listen to you
The biggest issue I have with the new formats is that you can't catch everything in the current game, it's a massive barrier to entry and one of the worst decisions I think they could have made, not to meantion I think the home update was very unhealthy for Reg D-F. I hope you're able to get some teams in game you enjoy tho
this is legit exactly how i would rank them after a month of testing on casual ladder. first Reg G tier list i've completely agreed with lol. Koraidon was the biggest mover for me from my initial theory ranking vs now. I had that at B and now fully agree it is S
Koraidon is the big mover for me too. I thought Groudon would be the better sun setter and Miraidon would be the better dragon, but it turns out Koraidon is so strong and fast with access to a lot of great teammates that it creates too much offensive pressure right off the bat to ignore
Just got back into VGC with Reg G having not played it since ORAS. Started right out with Koraidon the loaded dice set. It's not bad, but it's not worth the item slot just for one move imo. I switched to Covert Cloak and having immunity to Fake Out and immediately OHKO'ing Incini is the most satisfying thing lmao
I’m attending a regional soon and was pretty set on Miraidon, but seeing the Koraidon success has me pivoting. I already enjoy sun teams a ton so I don’t think it’ll be hard to switch over. I still think Miraidon is more powerful individually and that it’ll wind up very strong with a balance archetype, rather than trying to power up Quark Drive or the two or three mons that benefit from Electric Terrain. But for putting pressure on the opponent from the jump, Koraidon and its teammates will do better imo.
I think it all comes down to prep with the team, tbh for the first Regional almost any restricted will be able to see good success. If you like your Miriadon team, go ball, but I do think Sun is very good
I have returned again, for once i think Zekrom is in the right spot but personally i really like it as it can be a very good non-kyogre partner for pelipper and amoonguss, 2 pokemon bolt and miraidon don't partner up with as well and Zekrom is also very flexible with tera, personally fairy is giving me the best results, i think it should be a bit higher but C is the most reasonable Now i tested Black Kyurem and it is very akward to pilot, loaded dice sets have to worry about intimidate and clear amulet tera ice blast sets have to be a tera hog and it isn't a great tera hog to say I think Calyrex-Ice is the best pokemon rn but i think it is PTSD from it, with amoonguss it is very easy to deal with so i can see why it is lower than i think so I honestly don't understand much why Ho-Oh is very high, i never see it but ik it can get very good results as a user on discord is getting good results from Ho-Oh but it was a rough start for him with it Overall i mostly agree, i really like your content and the tier lists can be controversial but all of them are, this one is one of the least controversial ones
ok look... i've started to come to terms with the fact that dialga-o is a bit fraudulent this format, right? however, i really like using the guy, and i'm gonna keep trying to find a team that it works really well with. is this copium? almost certainly. but i still think it's a pretty solid option with very few actually losing matchups into opposing restricteds (koraidon and i guess zamazenta are the main ones, with landorus-i being pretty bad too)
If it was easier to play tyranitar I could see it being a bulky monster under sand but tyranitar has too many bad matchups and there’s no better way to set sand up
Tbh buff it to 120 with 100% accuracy. I think Caly ice/shadow have proven that's balanced 🤣🤣🤣 but in all honesty I wish they were all 100% accurate and dropped to 100 BP. Missing moves is so dumb
