We travel 15 hours through out the night to be in San Antonio Texas with our good friend Scott with Red, white and blue guide service to chase after freshwater red fish or red drum. These fish commonly found in the ocean Texas stocked in a few freshwater lakes to see how they do as early as the 1960's. They also experimented with other ocean fish such as tarpon, sea bass and nile perch.
Scott did feed us some amazing red fish and sausage chowder and man was it so good.
We set out to use Fishbites and they worked well! This shelf stable bait is a must have in any tackle bag.
The wind started out howling and howled all day. Pulling that anchor up was a blast. So wind noise was hard to deal with. We caught a very fiesty deformed fish let us know what you think happend?
