I most definetely did, but only becasue of a DnD campaing where our bard rolled nat20 on performance and turned a fucking tavern into Defqon1. In addition, our monk did some artistic expresson on the stage and been walking on people heads across the room without hurting them, and me, the wizard, used Major Illusion to create a gigantic disco bowl on the roofs ceiling.
I was there.. save some money and try to get to our EDM festivals here during summer: Dance Valley, Mystery Land and this one. You'll never forget nor regret it :)
@@ftsproductions1376 that is understandable. I don't know where you are from, but I think the Netherlands would be a great place to go to if you are not comfortable with traveling to another country. If you speak English than you will have no problem communicating with people. And in general people will gladly help you with anything. It will be even easier if you do some research before you go, know how to look up information about public transportation and where you want to go beforehand. You will be able to get info upon arrival especially if you are (semi) fluent in English (or dutch of course). If you really want to I'd even be happy to guide you a little. I've been to many festivals in the Netherlands, including this one, and it adds to the fun to go with or meet people from other countries and cultures.
thank you, i just imagined the whole surface of earth shifting eight step left, then eight step right,... then aliens seeing that, just exploding inside their suits, kinda like in mars attack.... 🤣
Alright, time for some physics here. The reason why the wide shot at 1:46 looks like the crowd has a slight wave from front to back is because of the speed of sound. Ever seen a car door shut from far away, or maybe a baseball coming off a bat from a good distance? Then you’ve probably noticed how the sound is just a little off. It comes a tad to late. That’s because sound travels at a little over 760mph, so it takes time to reach you. So, that “wave” that you can see in the crown is because the sound reaches the guys in the front before the guys in the back. The crowd is so freakin large that this effect can be seen. This is so cool.
I can't see any clear difference of the movement from crowd at the front and at the back, you can see that 4 speakers were placed in the middle of the crowd so they hear the sound almost evenly at the same time.
Not at the same time. The others speakers placed in the middle and back of the crowd are called "delay towers" and are used to enhance the sound to the rear crowd. Sound from delay towers is delayed on purpose to avoid sound overlap from main PA. Delay time is set according to the distance from the stage (main PA) or between 2 delay tower. Anyway I also noticed it in the video. Michael Thomas is right!
Tosh thank you for clearing the things out. I am definitely not an audio engineer. But yes if all the speakers sounded the same at the same time at different distance they would overlap each other. You're right.
What a beautiful event. To see so many people of nationalities from all over the world, just enjoying the party together without any hate towards each other
Yes exactly! Well done! I have been listening to hardcore for over 25 years, I could not remember where this familiar synth came from Razzle Dazzle Trax - Rattle Brain -1997 and Razzle Dazzle Trax - Rattlebrain (DJ Isaac's Overdrive Remix)
It won't, for a few reasons. 1: They can't give an accurate number for how many joined 2: It's an event from a few years ago 3: It's not a linedance 4: It's probably been done bigger at other events. This is quite common here in the NL. We have a lot of songs with the left-right movement in the lyrics. And people join in. Small earthquakes as a result is not uncommon (doesn't do damage, but is measurable).
