IrysHardstyler they would be a good opening act. That’s like saying DBSTF shouldn’t have played. Or other euphoric artists. Qlimax is about spiritual and deeper meaning. While darker themes do come in, these guys have the stuff to help open. Qlimax only gets harder and darker as the night moves on.

This stage right here is just one of the many smaller stages at Defqon 1, and yet it is bigger than the mainstage used to be 10 years ago... Something to think about. This genre has come a long way.

I just love the feelings I often get when listening to the Wasted Penguinz. When one of their melodies drops, I'm getting a smile on my face.. just out of nowhere! It's amazing what their music does to me and has done to me since I found them in 2010. Never gets old, never gets boring, and I hope they'll keep on doing what they're doing until the end of times! They really deserve more places on the big stages.. much love :)

So glad I got to see WP at least ONCE before Jon left. This was back in 2016. And of course freakin Sylence opened for them. It was a euphoric and emotional af filled night of some of the best Hardstyle ever. I hope Jon finds his happy place in this world and thank you for all of the wonderful music you guys have produced. This is absolutely beautiful to say the least. Everything is amazing. The video quality, the camera angles, the choice of tracks, the crowds reaction showing so much love and passion towards the songs. This set has literally brought tears to my eyes. I cant wait to experience this first hand. My life is going to be changed on an emotional level and I'm completely ready for it to happen!

Yes. Everyone over there usually speaks 2 or 3 different languages at least which includes english. We met people from Norway, Sweden, Canada, a few of my festival friends randomly from California, and many more. Everyone was really nice and had great vibes. A majority of the people were actually stoked that we came out from CA and were like "Omg I would LOVE to visit there" which really surprised me. If you ever go, make sure to camp in the Safari Tents. Its basically VIP camping compared to a festival in the US for wayyyy cheaper. Only like $550 which includes ticket, seperate showers, nice bathrooms and free bbq with champagne on the first day
