Ahh, the way the vocal cords work are weird. For years it seemed like his "howling" high screams were what he was best at, and the regular scream style was sort of weak. I watched this, and it seems that his regular scream is just brutal, and his "howling" highs were lacking the rasp. I saw them on October 5th (my first time) and his "howling" screams were lacking, but his regular screaming was good. The bummer is, when I saw them they were before Avenged Sevenfold. They deserve to headline.

(continued) But I understand. "A7X" is more popular and universal to "metal/rock" fans. I missed Ghost, showed up 20 minutes before Deftones went on, watched them in the pouring rain (bought a poncho beforehand) and left before "A7X". What I was getting at in my last comment is they only played 10 songs. I understand them not turning down the slot to play before Sevenfold, to bring their music to a "newer" crowd. But it's still a wtf situation. They have way too many good tunes to only play 10.
