I wonder if they even cared. Chino and even Stef seem to have clearly not given a fuck most of their career. They've been pretty chill and don't talk too much. They say generic things a lot of the times either because they don't like talking about themselves or just do the music for fun/themselves and it so happens that they have fans. They got up there and let Abe say a quick line and got out. I love their music so much and I consider them to be my favorite band of all time but it sucks to see them not be willing to talk more and discuss things fans want to know about. How long did it take them to finally accept the origin of their band? For years they either ignored or denied the fact that Stef got hit by a car, got paid and bought tons of gear which lead them to forming the band.
Ya he lost mad weight cause at one point it just looked real bad. Im all about the music but that was just a sad thing to see but anyway he did lose a lot of damn weight but hes still not as skinny as he was here I mean look at him here lol dude is a toothpick. At least he's healthier now than in 06 cause holy shit that was bad.
the artis of the year every year of my life.. powerful and refreshing sound keep me going every year.... so glad for the new record... can´t wait to see them live
@@ratmachine87 i've heard him say it in a few interviews when they asked him. i think they asked a few times cause the 3 crosses symbol, and he said he's not religious, he just really likes catholic art
Why no Frank and Chi also taking homage? Worse yet, why no mention of Frank and Chi? White Pony is one of those albums that will never be surpassed...by Deftones or anyone else!
adt2695 People always immediately reference their nu-metal hits and kind of grace over White Pony's dynamism. To Deftones fans yea it might not be underrated, but in the general public you bet it is.
+Mark Servillo. Huh? You just substantiated what I said; "Digital Bath" is from 'White Pony'. But yeah, they're first frenetic, nu metal tier to older people that got into them from 1995 to 1999 will have a tendency to want to capture that essence before they became the expansive band they did. The attitude is 'Adrenaline' or 'Around the Fur'; or nothing at all. I see it quite a bit at concerts on 'RU-vid' when they play the songs from either of those albums - it's always people in their late-30's-to-mid-40's only getting piqued when certain songs from those two albums are played.
