Chino is just the Best. He sounds Great. Its weird, but Im just so proud of these guys. If you were to have shown a young teen me in 1998 all the amazing records they would be releasing into the 2020s I would have totally believed it to be true. I knew from the 1st album that Deftones were going to Evolve into something Magical. God Bless This Band
I might be in a small minority here, but I feel like Chino's evolution to what he's been putting out over the last 3-4 years and now especially with "Crosses" is the best work he's ever done! I have plenty of love for the old stuff, but it's kinda awesome the 45-50 year old versions of these guys are still releasing absolute bangers in 2023!
ive been saying this!!! he always sounded good for someone who’s been screaming and performing for well over 3 decades , but since that long gap recently he’s polished his vocals substantially. so happy for him

I flew from Austin to San Diego just to see them. This was one if the best nights of my life. Everyone singing Deftones loudly and all together was so beautiful.
i fucking love this band. chino pushin' 50 and sounding as great as ever, stephen, abe and frank delgado being beasts on their instruments as usual, and their new bassist is really good, although i feel really bad for Vega.

Chinos voice for When Girls Telephone boys was absolutely fucking godly and the fact they played that is also amazing. What a great set list, praying they come to upstate NY 🙏🏻
Drove down from Fresno, Ca to be at this festival. If you are a fan of this band and can attend next year. You owe it to yourself because it's a beautiful experience and a beautiful city too might I add, it was my first time in San Diego ever. Experiencing Deftones play the song Xerces live had me stunned with their performance. That synth and chino's singing and the video on the screen of a thin curtain floating from a breeze. What a treat.
Amazing setlist!! So many bangers and songs they hadn't played in 5 years. Xerces, Phantom Bride, Cherry Waves, goddamn. And everyone sounds as good as ever 30+ years on. Man i fucking love this band
I just know I would have had the time of my life here. Superb setlist and hella energy. I think if you brought a casual rock/metal fan here or someone that was on the fence about Deftones,.. They would be converted into a fan for life.
What a good show, they killed it! I love how energetic Chino was and how engaged everyone seemed. The setlist was 🔥🔥🔥 Glad they added korea, kimdracula, XERCES, wgtb, and phantom bride back to the set after years. Love Deftones 💯🔥💯

One of my favorite bands of all time. they sound great! man, if I can be up there when I'm fifty, playing tunes written over a lifetime, doesn't matter if you're pitch perfect as long as everyone's having an incredible time. Long live the tones of defness! lol Hell of a setlist! And he's still got some great screams.
I know man it sucks, theres definitely an energy missing from these modern concerts, used to be no phones and everyone was jumping, now it's just a Dead Sea of phones
Fuck there where some rough moments in here for sure. Cherry waves got a little fucked in the beginning, and holy shit Steph completely botched the intro to phantom bride
who cares about a few fuck ups. The show and the set list was top notch. This is the one of the best sounding deftones gigs i've ever heard sound wise. They sound so good here imo.
Dude put down the cell phones and enjoy the show..how can you mosh holding those phones the whole time ? Get into it !! Makes a Deftones show so much more fun to do some dancing !
