I mean, it would defeat the whole point of the game to allow pass through during defusal. You are supposed to be isolated, lol. I mean, if you had pass through on during defusal, it would also imply that your bomb squad is in the room with you, and at that point why wouldn't you just be looking at the manual too?
It’s a game about diffusing a cartoonish bomb. Nobody is going for realism here. It’s a party game so why not have pass through be an option for parties? They could disable achievements or whatever if pass through is enabled to balance it out, or maybe have pass through on levels you’ve competed. Excluding the feature because it “defeats the purpose of the game” when there are balanced ways to implement it is stupid
there should be a window in the room where you can see your friends, like you're in a interrogation room with a 1 way window but you can see through it.
I see your point, however this is a social game. My favourite way to play this is on the steam deck, it makes it so much fun seeing each other and panicking together as the time runs out 😂
The Quest 3 pass through is really good, but not good enough that you'd be able to read the manual as the diffuser, even at a very close distance. At the absolute worst, pass through during gameplay would be like playing the non-VR version with a heavy handicap.
Love this game. It would be great to have a few videos for you to get into it. It gets even more hectic xD (tip for numbers: the people with the manual should have a pen and write down in which position the solution to each number was)
D, you should check out Grapple Tournament VR, crazy fast paced multiplayer VR shooter with grapple hooks. It's an old school arena shooter with Unreal Tournament weapons, and it plays like Attack on Titan with guns. Closest thing to VR Titanfall that exists. Just recently went F2P and got a decent little playerbase.
Lil tip for the numbers module from when I played, makes it loads easier if you have a pad and pen and draw a lil grid of position in one column and number in the column next to it and read out both as you go. I know it's called memory but who has time to remember the numbers and the position of them 4 times in a row?!
