Please can you tell me what is the difference between balance, avail to trade and portfolio? I thought i can use my whole balance to buy anything and ehole bakance is available to trade. Why my whole balance is not available to trade?
The portfolio refers to stocks… that you have purchased, balance is the overall money you have under your name in Degiro, however part of it can be held for control purposes or as safety founds (for instance if you have used leverage)

I have a question tho, I am currently living in the NL as a student and I already have an account, however I’m from another country but I do have a residence permit. Can I buy and sell stocks without worrying about taxes or any other restriction besides the fees? Thank you in advance :)
Uhh, I don't know. Taxes are not my strong suit. To me it sounds like you might have income in NL from your profits. But maybe since they are small it won't really matter. I also live in NL, and I just state my investment account in my yearly taxes. I think you should ask an accountant how to handle this in your income tax.

Looks good mate, a question - are there candlesticks anywhere in degiro - feels like there is nothing of sort and I would like to see the market movement and especially the volume indications = vpvr. Do you know if there is a way to get those type of views in Degiro?
it's nothing to worry about, it should balance out. it's something degiro does for admin stuff. that sucks :( maybe because you haven't linked a bank account? In any case, I would reach out to Degiro support, they should be able to help. I mean you want to become a customer :)
