Bruce,Johnny and that other loser who fought Spinner not getting expelled despite being some of the most blatant bullies in Degrassi history is a shining example of what’s wrong with that school
Exactly, they even helped create Fitz the way he is, 17:05 took me years to figure out Fitz was rolling with the guys and even more shocking is close to their height.
Johnny DiMarco served as the main antagonist of 'Degrassi' Seasons 6-9, but redeemed himself in Season 11. The Lakehurst Gang was definitely one of the show's best villains.
@@MorbidlyMortuus bc like you said he was just a witness. he didn't know what his friend was going to do it wasn't a pre-meditated act , it was random violence. thus making him not guilty. if he had known and told no one about the plan that's guilty by association. ❤
Johnny really came a long way since then. He changed so much I didn’t even realize it was the same guy! I couldn’t stand him at first, but he eventually grew on me. Not to mention he’s actually really cute.🥰
I never liked him. I couldn’t forgive him for the role he played in JT’s murder. But he definitely matured. And Lucas , Bruce and his other loser friends were definitely worse. I hated Johnny and Ali though as a couple
Cute? Are we watching the same show? He's exceptional at best. But you're entitled to your own opinion i guess. But he was some kick ass content, especially in seasons 7-9.
@@selfhatred_2820Yeah. Scott Paterson is hot. He made me fall head over heels for him with that long ass scraggly hair and camo attire. Johnny was a bad guy, but I loved it. He was totally perfect before the Alli dating storyline. They ruined shit with that. But I still loved his snarky quips and demeanor. Johnny deserved better. Not the crap he got in season 8 or 9. But I'm glad he made an appearance in season 10 to give us an update on his character development. People can want change. Also, Bruce is an ugly creepy loser. Johnny shouldn't have been friends with him.
At first Spinner tried to avoid another Rick situation with Johnny and his crew, but after the cancer diagnosis that was completely off the table and he was gunning for them.
To be fair, Trauma can do that to You, It takes time and many people take things differently, maybe he grew up, realized what he did was very wrong and what he was part of, and hopes to be better.
The interior of Lakehurst looks suspiciously like Degrassi. Almost like they just reused the same set and just put up a paper sign saying “Go Lakehurst Knights!”
I absolutely hated Lakehurst, but you cannot deny they had some absolutely fantastic dialogue😂. The writers must have had so much fun writing Johnny et co
Johnny is the leader of the crew but the biggest wuss of them all. Spinner kicked his ass and the response is, Bruce is going to fight you for me lol. JT had more balls than all of them.
Yeah THAT really made me mad the first time I saw that. You've You've that, and what he said about JT's death, and then later on they had the NERVE to make that guy sympathetic.
Degrassi and Lakehurst may have been rivals in the beginning. But after one of their own stabbed JT, an innocent boy to death, all because he wanted to play a joke on him, it caused a turf war between two schools. Even though the students of Lakehurst sought refugee at Degrassi after their school burned down, some aren’t willing to forgive them for what happened to JT.
I always thought Bruce was just a full on creep I liked how Johnny was starting to slowly become less of a jerk in the later seasons and I actually thought him and Ali were pretty cute together
I wish Devon Bostick would've stayed longer, I really liked his character even though he wasn't around long. It would've been nice to see him become a main character like Johnny did and see his growth. But he ended up getting bigger roles so it was a win win regardless.

it was later revealed that Lucas was Jane's brother on Degrassi but she changed her last name Because she was ashamed of being related to him until he found out what Happened to Jane they became close again
If Jimmy wasn't paralyzed he would helped Spinner for real and then they both can get Jay and Sean involved too. I know Craig and Dylan were gone by this time but I can't help but wonder that they would join in with the guys and Lakehurst wouldn't stand a chance against Degrassi.

Been rewatching Degrassi and wanted to see if I could find out why they just seem to ditch Nic but couldn’t find anything. Love this compilation because it really solidified my feelings of WTF happened to Nic. Seriously he was there and seemed like he was going to be the major antagonist then out of nowhere a random guy stabs JT and Nic just disappears from the storyline. I’m just gonna guess he had another role to play.
I saw that and had Craig been there to see that, he would have went after Johnny for sure. Nothing gets past Craig and he would have done damage for sure.
I know this is a show but I’m home schooling my daughter. Too many bullies, predators and perverts in these damn schools today. You can’t even stand up or defend yourself without getting suspended.
I never liked Johnny Dimarco because he was indirectly the reason JT was murdered. He ran away after Drake stabbed him and he didn’t call 911. He did mature when he went to college and he turned his life around after he graduated though
