Still shook over Paige slapping Marco. He didn’t deserve that at all. 😭 I kinda hate how they butchered her character when she lived in Hollywood for a bit lol
If you watch Degrassi Next Class, there's an episode that features a lot of the OG degrassi characters. Paige and Marko are joking with each other about some podcast. So it appears that they've made up
Idk why, but I always loved that little sisterhood moment between Paige and Emma in the bathroom. She started off insulting Emma, but when she realized that it was Emma's first time getting her period and she was a little wide-eyed, she switched to big sister mode.
Paige was the realest! The one character who didn’t seem filtered thru persona. Emma gave off legit toxic mean girl to me. But Paige just seemed real and not with the shits
Ummm, she was real later on. But at the beginning she was just trying to be too girly while bullying or demeaning other girls. She couldn’t handle Ashley being more popular, nor Terri having her man. She was definitely tripping, but after Dean, she changed. Which sucks but it’s life.
@@softcoreluvrPlease, Alison is on MsMojo Top TV Mean Girls list unlike Paige. Alison did more horrible stuff than Paige ever did also Heathe Chandler, Courtney Shayne and Regina George WALKED so Paige can RUN
True but the thing is, Paige was saying it cause Ashley just cheated on Jimmy and was being rude to everybody and that's her way of trying to defend people ashley was treating terribly. Ashley said it cause she was out of her mind and wanted to insult everyone. Was completely on paige's side in that
@Azzz true but it wasn't just the E. She wanted to break up with Jimmy for several months and suppressed that to play some martyr complex like she was doing him a huge favor, and the things she said was all things she actually believed. All the E did was remove the inhibitions that prevented her from saying and doing that stuff when sober. Let's not forget that Paige was justified right after the summer ended when Ashley set up dates with both Jimmy and Sean, knowing that Jimmy would hate it if he knew, and then insulted Terri for trying to express her concerns. She wasn't on E then.
7:50 always loved this exchange Alex: Nice shirt hate to bloody it. Paige: Nice attitude hate to deflate it by reminding you that you're a loser. Alex: Really who decided that? Paige: Everybody. Majority rules on these matters sweetie. 😉
I know this is an unpopular opinion in the fandom but this is why I never liked Paige. She was selfish, rude, and entitled. If she were a real person nobody would want to be her friend. Her attitude is just terrible. She’s definitely one of those people who is mean to everyone but it gets dismissed with “that’s just how she is”
Right. Some people mistake being entertaining to watch with actually being an admirable person. I love Paige as a character but I would NEVER want someone like her in my life.
She is mean to everyone, but I think you have to pick your battles with degrassi. Everyone pretty much is shitty in their way. And with Paige I always got the sense she insulted people because she didn't want to dig into her emotions and be completely herself. A good 75% of her insults here are to uplift or defend her friends, or to help someone without admitting she cares, or to finish a fight someone else started. I understand that way better than I understand say Ashley who was also mean to everyone but 100% of it was for selfish reasons and the second she got called out she played the victim
I don’t even liked degrassi at all because on how I feel like almost everyone here is extremely unlikable like do the writers even like teenagers because I don’t even think they do in fact I’d can’t help but feel like they’re always being condescended to for existing
I think people generally give Paige a pass because even though she's a Mean Girl, she at least is fully aware of it and embraces it. Meanwhile other characters such as Emma, Ashley, and even Ellie at times are just as toxic, but act like they're so innocent and play victim when called out on it.
@@chrysblackwell9171 You know it's kinda weird how Craig looks so much older than Manny even though their real life age difference isn't even a full 3 years.
I remember reading somewhere that Terri’s old boyfriend Rick said that she’s a vicious backstabber, and everything she saids is a judgement and thinking she’s Little Miss Perfect !! And people said he wasn’t telling no lies !!
Not gonna lie, Paige actually cooked with a lot of these. Paige's insults were real-life trolling at worst. If she actually made anyone cry or started pulling nasty pranks on people, I would have to draw the line on that behavior.
I understand why it’s so hard for Paige to TRULY accept Manny. It must be hard to think you’re the best, then this absolutely gorgeous girl comes along and she’s basically the most beautiful girl that’s EVER been on the show. I will never NOT crush on Cassie Steele. When I found out she was pregnant, I actually got tears in my eyes. I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. Paige is Paige, but Manny was my first crush, and it never really stopped because Cassie has been sexy as hell her whole life
Watching Degrassi TNG backwards is confusing af. How Paige devolves from this sweet, insecure, perfectionist Uni student who cares about everyone and everything, to this shallow and overconfident and narrow-minded mean girl tween who is only interested in popularity.
The mini between Paige and Holly J was chef’s kiss. Sorry Paige, but you grew up, and the new mean girl was just as great as you were in your prime. You know, back when you were IN your prime
Jason Edward Mewes did not put up with her attitude though, he said if you're not going to have a good attitude, then get off my set, and told 1 or 2 people that not only does she have a bad act, but she has a bad attitude, and the near end of season 9.🤣😂😅😆😁😄😃😀
