Dehradun - Mohund in 1990 

This clip starts at the Yak Service Station in Dehradun, which was adjacent to the Yeti Restaurant. Then there are scenes of Dehradun traffic on Rajpur Road in town and on Saharanpur Road as it heads out of town. We were welcomed into a Gujjar home in the Shivaliks and shot some video there. The clip finishes with some footage taken in the village of Mohund, where the Gujjar presence was quite evident. We always found Gujjar people to be very hospitable. We especially enjoyed Gujjar hospitality on an earlier hike to Dodi Tal.
