you can do this as a juvie, just get a good diet then leave. Run until you're almost out of stam then hide and regain all your stam then make your way across the path(may have to stay above 60% stam before crossing) rest one more time to full stam and run straight into the water. works for me everytime
@@spinnyquack56 I left at at like 27-28% , I tried it a couple days before this vid was posted. Went around the salt lick to the left cause I wasn't sure if u could climb up the way u did as deino
Once you get going in the right direction, just use the mountains as your guide. Stay in the valley and keep trotting along. Once the vegetation gets dry, you're almost there! Also, going at night might peovide better concealment.
I have been trying this few times but nothing worked, till now. I was a juvi around 10%, good diet dots + 2 times bars, went pretty much same way just more straight instead with some paths or little hills, run everytime i could above 60%, in the end i was 17% grown and hp was orange so 25-50% hp, also i did it with faster swimming so without water drain slower or faster speed during day/night mutation
I got a better recommendation for this trip. Firstly, I suggest you start as juvi since you lose way less stamina on land if you run and you can cover great distances, second I suggest you apply the "less water loss" mutation as it helps. I tried it as both adult and juvi and I made it as juvi with sm health to spare
@@yorubangs6694 Once you make it to highlands, you will be too small to kill anything. Currently there’s usually at least 2 fully grown deinos the water that would immediately come and kill you. I didn’t pick the less water loss mutation because it can be a bit of a waste as some other mutations are so much more useful, and I wanted to show it’s possible without.
@@spinnyquack56late reply mb around 30 to 40 growth and always reached near the pond and died of thirst with the same pathing but maybe it was the way i used my stam cuz i dont know when to use my stam or not
@@Kentuckyy If you use the same path then it should be fine. My advice is don't let your stamina bar drop below the two "side toes" (don't let it drop below ~ 60% or you won't be able to trot and gain back your stamina)
@@spinnyquack56 YOOOO IMADE IT TO THE HIGHLANDS TROTTING DID MAKE THE DIFFERENCE I MANAGED TO GET THERE WITH 17% GROWTH THANKS MAN YOU EARNED A SUB FROM ME
I tried to go to Highlands when growth rate was under 30% and died of thirst just before the waterfront lol Thanks for the guide video, from now on I'll go to Highlands when I'm bigger than 30%😂
@@YannickHienle Oh, I didnt konw that. But it seems a bit waste to use up one of the mutation slot for that. I learned something good for now! Thank you
@@Dayan_0808 np! Glad to help. But yes it is kinda waste but to be honest not that big of a waste and u can travel earlier, more and easyier so thats also quite nice.
Yeah like Yannick said you can chose the 20% less water drain I actually find it quite helpful, but I didn't pick it in the video to show people that it's possible without it, if people don't wanna waste one of their slots for this mutation
