Really, too much bragging. How many coaches go on the feminine rant? Just win and speak with your on field play. Big time coaches don’t respond this way. Yeah that insecurity angle by Jason is just reaching 😂. Deion is just as supremely confident as Jason is, to the point of crowning himself the best sports writer of his era in previous episodes. Funny how he has no problem heaping praise on himself to that extent but finds fault with Deion expressing the same type of confidence.

Deion has been consistent in who he is, whether you like his methods or not. He's been a winner in the things that he has done thus far whether you like it or not. We accept bravado of those we like and those we don't we tend to criticize the same characteristics. HIs son proved on the big stage that he was supposed to be there and coaches promote their players.
Dude, they had 2 mos to prepare specifically for this one game. TCU had no film to study of Deon. I'm a huge fan of Deon. I met him a couple of times when he was in Atlanta. He genuinely loved his fans when he was here. That being said, i think Deon was so surprised he won because he did not expect it. I honestly think Deon lost it from all the excitement and said whatever was rushing through his head with no filter. This was a huge win for Deon... But at the same time, Deon is human. I wish him more success... he's gonna need it.

Completely wrong. Deion has been humble and confident in all he has done. To be upset because he’s not being the Christian you want him to be is hypocritical, judgemental, and wrong. Who are you to judge someone’s level of Christianity. And to call him feminine, bruh, you’re up here gossiping from a place of envy.
I think the judging you're talking about is meant who condemns someone else to hell. Christians have nipped at the heels of each other about more routine stuff forever. the ones who are off track are those who think when two people believe in Christ and repent, one is going to heaven and the other isn't because they write their offering check to the wrong man made organization.
Ironic coming from Deion. Little quotes like this are something he stole from someone else and only serve to cover for his own incredible insecurity. If he was so confident, he wouldn't need to say anything. BARRY Sanders was the best example of confidence in football. His play did the only talking that was needed. All these dancing, talking fools are just looking for attention, because of course they are not secure in themselves.
Why is everyone acting like this is new for coach prime. This is who this man is, he's a motivational guy From the time he entered florida state until today. Jason, that's the story that many people don't like, Coach isn't allowing the media to dictate how he communicates his thought or feelings. Jason is so hellbent of being right about his criticism, hating, judgement etc of Prime is just embarrassingly ridiculous and bias. But I’d admit he made some good points to tell the truth. I feel like Steve’s takes were a lil more fair
Jason's take on Prime has been some of the most ignorant, shortsighted that I've heard thus far. In his zeal to disassociate himself from his blackness, he lost the perspective in what Deion's voice has meant to young black men. The confidence and desire to attain goals and to show them how to overcome obstacles. Studies have shown young black males have a chance to develop into good men when they're instructed by black men. They crave the paternal instruction a man can give. Jason backs his ridiculous opinions with the excuse that he looks at things from "Christian Worldview" when I'd bet he has no true understanding of what the Book is about.
Come on big Ja….. Deion has been this guy since high school and the results are there for us to witness. Allow him to be him big guy and let’s sit back and enjoy what he’s done/doing. Also, he’s old school, which I figured you could appreciate. He preaches uniformity, teamwork, & togetherness. What’s the difference between him and Muhammad Ali
That's a really good point on Ali...Deon is a modern day version of Ali- who I could not stand because of how he treated Frazier and won a bunch of fixed fights.....
@@TIMDELANEY-jf9ro I disagree. Ali, even with his bragadoccio, is humble in his approach to the Black community. He's certainly not being his quintessential self to a young protégé. He not a coach, yet would preach a differing character to those whom his name is being contacted to. I don't dislike Deion; I like him. But, I'm critical of HC Sanders, definitely "Coach Prime".
What part does college FB need - a coach going in and pulling the rug out from under a bunch of scholarship players to win and then move up to the next school? Deion gets credit for winning here, but it's not that big of a surprise to me and probably not a lot of people that he could bring high-touted players and beat a mid-tier team. I'm only just into the podcast, but I do fail to find the "showy Christian" who finds favor in the Bible. And I'm no saint either, just recall two people who get real negative press in the Bible - boastful types and money chasers.
Its so funny people like Jason took over an hour out of his day to talk about Prime. Meanwhile Prime probably doesn’t even remember Jason’s name lol. We call that free marketing. Whether you talk good or bad about someone the fact you’re even speaking on them means they win. #FreePromo 😂

I live in Colorado. I have been very excited about allot of Deion being here. I want to believe in Deion. I was very disappointed in his divisive race statements, especially him saying that he is a Christian man. Hearing what JW has just said about Deion has truly convicted my heart about Deion true heart. As a Christian it is not about me, it’s about the kingdom of God..
Using religion as a point of criticism is self-righteousness. Self-righteousness is a form of arrogance. Whitlock is accusing Deion of arrogance. Dude, really? Who's arrogant?
Sanders strategy will now be followed next year by first year coaches, regardless of what happens to Colorado the rest of the season. Kim’s take was on point on many levels. The whole raising your hands after the first mile was really good. I’m curious how Sanders will be when he loses games. That said, coaches leave for better opportunities all the time, the players who can and do leave are just doing what coaches have done since the beginning. Why fault them for that, they just want better for themselves, they’re not property.
Certainly coaches will try. But the reason I think some coaches don’t like Deions approach is that he is able to do this so well NOT bc of his coaching resume but bc of his immense popularity. I can’t name a college coach who was a superstar before they were a coach. Bird did it in the NBA but that’s different.
This game had a lot of eye's watching. It was a good college football game. It'll be an interesting season for Colorado. Barely knew they had a football program, they've been so irrelevant. Now I'll watch em if i can find them on tv. Deion has already made them relevant THIS year no matter the outcome.
Being a 21 point underdog is a crazy feeling to have as a team so yea they had to celebrate that feeling alone. The only thing is to not get caught up on that feeling and take every game as if it’s there last.
"Remember the saying, 'People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones'? It seems like you're throwing an awful lot of stones there, Jason. Let's focus on constructive dialogue rather than sounding like a scorned woman. Just my perspective!" I wish Coach Prime the best and love what he's doing for those kids and the Colorado program.
The critics (sports bettors, the media, sports voters, etc.) were never "credible" to begin with. Yes, the game was entertaining to watch. But remember, TCU is the team that got beat by Georgia 65-7. Let’s not forget Uncle Ruckus said Deion Sanders would NOT be successful in Colorado. Now he is concerned about Coach Prime’s religious values. He doesn’t get to decide who is a valuable Christian and who isn’t! He doesn’t get to decide what people do in their lives that is legal. He doesn’t get to decide what moral values should be followed. If you tell him that he is not Christian because he is judging how would he feel about that? He is nothing more than a self promoter hell bent on using his platform to achieve success on the back of successful black people.
I pegged this dude years ago as a narcissist. He has no conscience or morals about what he must do to "move on up". and "stay relative". To be honest, it doesn't matter what you think. The best college football players are mostly black kids. We love Deion. How do white men expect to compete in recruiting with Deion in the future? Deion can tell his kids... Hey, I believe in putting blacks in position of leadership. I will push for you to be hired as a HC one day.... No Georgia football coach can say this to a black man. No LSU coach can says this. No Auburn coach can say this... They never hired a black coach in the history of their programs. Why should we give them a chance when they don't believe in black leadership? Prime does... Prime relates with us... You don't...

Ed Werder's comment pertaining to Coach Sanders on his Twitter account was disturbing in my view. In the first sentence of the post, Coach Sanders is described as a celebrity coach. Coach Sanders isn't a celebrity coach. He is a coach with a proven background. He knows the game of football. He has been around the game for nearly 40 years. He has made a great deal of money for his coaches and his players. Ed Werder should have begun his Twitter post with the words Coach Sanders.
It was interesting. Last week. Colorado was rated as the worst team for this year you had a lot of people hating like Lee Corso stay in debt. Why didn’t he do it the traditional way on Ed warner sander Rogge Tori things all he did was throw his words back in his face, if you don’t like the smell of chitlins, don’t eat them. All Dion did was give them up the same thing they ditched him now it’s all unfair. They just don’t like the fact that he has the connection with his kids like they didn’t. IMHO Steve Kim's take on Coach Sanders was well thought out, unbiased, logical and encompassed the state of affairs in NCAA Football and the current climate his presence has on it.
