Deion has been consistent in who he is, whether you like his methods or not. He's been a winner in the things that he has done thus far whether you like it or not. We accept bravado of those we like and those we don't we tend to criticize the same characteristics. HIs son proved on the big stage that he was supposed to be there and coaches promote their players.

Dude, they had 2 mos to prepare specifically for this one game. TCU had no film to study of Deon. I'm a huge fan of Deon. I met him a couple of times when he was in Atlanta. He genuinely loved his fans when he was here. That being said, i think Deon was so surprised he won because he did not expect it. I honestly think Deon lost it from all the excitement and said whatever was rushing through his head with no filter. This was a huge win for Deon... But at the same time, Deon is human. I wish him more success... he's gonna need it.

Jason's take on Prime has been some of the most ignorant, shortsighted that I've heard thus far. In his zeal to disassociate himself from his blackness, he lost the perspective in what Deion's voice has meant to young black men. The confidence and desire to attain goals and to show them how to overcome obstacles. Studies have shown young black males have a chance to develop into good men when they're instructed by black men. They crave the paternal instruction a man can give. What part does college FB need - a coach going in and pulling the rug out from under a bunch of scholarship players to win and then move up to the next school? Deion gets credit for winning here, but it's not that big of a surprise to me and probably not a lot of people that he could bring high-touted players and beat a mid-tier team. I'm only just into the podcast, but I do fail to find the "showy Christian" who finds favor in the Bible. Some talked to you like you were a human being and some were disrespectful as H3LL. Pulling on your face mask/ jerking your your neck hard as heck. This is not about the Ole Ball Coach/ he had a lot of quirks which never hit the public’s purview. I had a Coach in college tell me you are not a man until you have $50K in savings account and a $100K in your checking account. This was my positions Coach and he talked about my mom… So the chains don’t bother me as I have experienced my issues with ego driven coach’s in my collegiate years. Everything is not always in our preview/ Deion/ Prime Time/ Coach Prime has always been the same - an ego driven diva who put in the work. You and I can agree to disagree without discord as all coaches have egos. Nick Saban can be an a$$ at times and it doesn’t diminish his ability for attention to detail and have the right persons in place to administer his directives to the players. The greatest of all college coaches was Barry Switzer, bro he was cool as a fan but could be an ass to his players. Marcus Dupree/ Eric Mitchel - I played HS Football with Mitch. Switzer would not sign off on any of his transfer request. Mitch was a beast and just didn’t fit into what Coach wanted… All coaches are ass holes bro

Sanders strategy will now be followed next year by first year coaches, regardless of what happens to Colorado the rest of the season. Kim’s take was on point on many levels. The whole raising your hands after the first mile was really good. I’m curious how Sanders will be when he loses games. That said, coaches leave for better opportunities all the time, the players who can and do leave are just doing what coaches have done since the beginning. Why fault them for that, they just want better for themselves, they’re not property.

Certainly coaches will try. But the reason I think some coaches don’t like Deions approach is that he is able to do this so well NOT bc of his coaching resume but bc of his immense popularity. I can’t name a college coach who was a superstar before they were a coach. Bird did it in the NBA but that’s different.

Ed Werder's comment pertaining to Coach Sanders on his Twitter account was disturbing in my view. In the first sentence of the post, Coach Sanders is described as a celebrity coach. Coach Sanders isn't a celebrity coach. He is a coach with a proven background. He knows the game of football. He has been around the game for nearly 40 years. He has made a great deal of money for his coaches and his players. Ed Werder should have begun his Twitter post with the words Coach Sanders.

Deion can tell his kids... Hey, I believe in putting blacks in position of leadership. I will push for you to be hired as a HC one day.... No Georgia football coach can say this to a black man. No LSU coach can says this. No Auburn coach can say this... They never hired a black coach in the history of their programs. Although Jason's right, people like Deion and will continue to support him. There's good and bad in all this. The good is, we all like to support our children that are underdogs playing in sports. The bad is, the dude basically beat his chest after 1 win and as the season goes on and losses pile up, other teams surely will make fun of those kids. He put a lot of pressure on those kids now which will now be bulletin board material for other teams..Once the other teams start knocking the hell out of those kids the opponents players are gonna stand over them and say "WE BELIEVE" that.

One episode i refuse to watch, calling out the critics is just fine after he received unfair hate from not only sports media but other coaches as well. Sorry Jay, can't get down with you on this one. And no, he doesn't have to dial shit down, it's a part of his recruitment style, leave him alone and let him market his school and team the way he wants to. Other coaches are never questioned how they get players, why is Prime questioned? Don't want race involved? then tell sports media and coaches across the country to encourage instead of discouraging and disparaging.

No he doesn't. Had Colorado lost the game or got blew out, the laughs would be much louder than anything Prime did afterwards. Don't be selective with how someone can celebrate. That win is a big accomplishment for a team that has only been together for 3 months and were labeled "the worst roster in college football." Let's not forget they were also a 21 pt underdog. Salute to Coach Prime and Colorado.
