The most surprising thing was the huge amount of reduction in nearby vehicle noise. The only explanation must be a more focussed area and possibly a deep bass cut. Looks like a great choice.

I just bought this microphone for my Lumix G7 and now i'm just spamming reviews of it haha! I would've used your link had I known this video was out there. This was a very good review, straight and to the point. I do like the simplicity of this microphone. WOW! I didn't even realize the microphone was in use. VERY good audio wow. So, you think you have to be super close to it in order to use it? Was there any audio enhancement done to it or that was the raw sound? :) Thanks for the review! I'm happy I got this microphone. Also, is there some kind of pop filter in the mic...?

The closer you are to the mic the better the audio will turn out! In this review I didn't do anything to the audio it's all completely raw. And the mic has a dead cat that prevents any wind noise, but I'm not sure if it really has a pop filter built into it. Glad you enjoyed the review!

I tried it with both cables on my MacBook and it didn't work. But I tried the Deity V-Mic D4 and it works! That mic is a bit more, but I'm working on a review for it now and I'd really recommend it!
