How often you retwist your locs is a personal choice. I typically retwist between 6-8 weeks and I might retwist the front in between if I need to fake like I have a fresh retwist. The key thing is not to overly twist or put tension on your locs or it'll cause breakage.

Next time u or Yanna retwist your hair u should try the palm rolling method to retwist your locks and make sure to get the ends too which is optional only if u don't want the ends so poofy if u do retwist the ends use 2 clips on each twist one on the roots and the ends / middle where u retested them at also u should try using the Jamaican mango and lime locking gel in a yellow and white container but I really like the Murrays locking gel in a black and yellow container for locks and braids u should try both of those products

Not telling y'all what to do with your locs but don't retwist every month it can cause breakage. I had locs for 7 month and learned a lot with them I combed them out because I couldn't take it they started getting longer and it was a lot.

Omg. I keep commenting, SORRY. I retwist mine every 4-5 weeks. Well now I have interlock. I started with 72, then 80, now 146. I separated my twists right before they got locd
