Agent, an ick is something that normally shouldn't break up a couple or ruin a future relationship but does because one of the people just doesn't like it. Flirting with somebody else is not an ick because that is obviously something that should not happen in a relationship.
There is a difference between icks and red flags. Icks are small things that usually can let slide but red flags are things that you should break up with someone for. For example, a man who can’t dance is not a deal breaker for most but a man flirting with a woman in front of me is disrespectful and a warning sign. But be careful because some icks can be signs of hidden red flags.
