FourStarBento last week or the week before you were talking about hoping what Deku did to his body would have reprocussions. I really really loved how in this episode Deku would have saved Bakugo before Dabi grabbed him, but the immense pain from his injuries hit him all of a sudden and delayed his takeoff by half a second. If he wouldnt have destroyed his body, Bakugo wouldnt have been taken...... He must live with that

My big takeaway from this episode was...I was right. I knew, from the moment I first saw the UA logo in the anime, that there HAD to be a reason the left half of the U looks darker than the rest of the logo, as if it's tarnished or something. Foreshadowing the mole. Bam.

He's a better Sasuke, but a Sasuke nonetheless. He has the same tropes, it's just that MHA characters are just better written overall.

I wouldn't say Bakugo is the Sasuke character from a character perspective, but he is from a narrative perspective in this arc. He's the main rival to the main character. He stupid good at everything, where as the MC isn't. He's being taken away by the villains to hopefully be persuaded into joining them. I know what happens in the manga, but the way this arc is set up really is just a better written Sasuke Retrieval arc

It is a better written Sasuke retrieval arc, but that's more a similarities between the arcs. I know this seems like a nitpicking argument, but honestly nowadays we label "Sasuke" every childhood rival when, well, there are many other types of childhood rivals. Bakugou doesn't have any sort of angst, he lived pretty much a sheltered life with no trauma and has no revenge meter going up everytime something happens. While he's currently in a position Sasuke was in, he's not really akin to him as a character.

as a manga reader, you will get to see that, and at the pace this season is going you might see it near the end where they actually have a legit convo about their friendship

The Hideout Raid arc is the Bakugo Retrieval Arc. The arc that Dau V. is referring to is called the Internship arc by most, since Deku was interning under Sir Nighteye up until its conclusion. I am going by the wiki names for the arcs, since we need those listed somewhere.

It was an art choice to show he didn't remenber nothing and he was traumatized.

A good traitor is one who doesn't get found out. It's probably good that we still don't know yet. It might get revealed towards the end of the whole series.

That's a debatable point actually. All we actually know is that the teachers know that All Might has two forms. His boney default form, and his heroic muscle form. We really do't know how many people actually know about his injuries. As well, its kind of a moot point, because the villain who injured All Might was All for One, who did tell the League of Villains that All Might would have been weakened from his lasting injury, and why they tried that plan back with the Nomu in season 1. Also, lets not ignore the fact that All for One clearly is trying to groom Shigaraki to be his successor, and we can't rule out him purposely setting him up for failure to teach him how to come back from it. That and tilting the Manga reader hand a little bit, but there are more chekhov guns dropped that lean to saying that someone is leaking information, but again those could purely be red herrings to trick us readers is to suspecting everyone and not considering the most obvious answers, like having good spying abilities, or even something like the ability to see the future.

Classix Yes except, Manga Spoilers: It’s been multiple arcs since both the traitor and the League of Villains were even relevant. It’s almost like Horikoshi remembers that the their is a traitor and has like one or two scenes about the traitor in between arcs

That's fine, because a plotline like that takes a long time to resolve if done right. It's called an "overarching plot point", and its basically there to continuously spur the story forward until it is revolved near the end of the story.

megasuperiordude To me at least, and overarching plot thread, has to be something that is both prevalent and relevant. And while the traitor theory is relevant, it is not relevant in the later arcs. Sure that’s because Horokoshi writes himself into a place where the traitor thread would seem weird, but it’s also because of Horikoshi’s habit to forget about side characters.

That's because the league of villains hasn't done much to warrant a "This must be the work of the traitor" thought lately. In fact, in their most recent manga appearances, they barely interacted with the heroes at all. It's overarching, but it's not in your face. It's not the core of the story, so it's not focused on at all times like, say, Rokka of the Six Braves or something where the existence of a liar is a huge deal and all you ever hear about for a long while.

Actually there is evidence of the principal's innocence. During the first season the League of Villains wanted All Might to be at the USJ, but the principal talked him into staying.

kami hentia No. That's not all of it. My friend reads the manga and when I asked him to tell me why they want Bakugo he refused to tell me because he thought it was a really clever twist. There has to be mpee than just they want to comvert him.

Idk anymore. Maybe it’s from watching TOO MUCH, but it’s like everything that happens has been done in some other show. Just kinda annoying.

Ehh, that's the thing about Deku. He's smart in some pretty great ways, but he's kind of an idiot when it comes to having a quirk, given he's still fairly new to all of this. Remember it took him a good few months just to realize that he should stop using his power in a single limb and try to keep it evenly dispersed throughout his body at a low level. But I'd imagine eventually he'll figure out a more efficient martial art that works for him once he actually realizes that All Might is only able to fight the way he does because he's so top heavy, which Deku isn't.

You'll enjoy the way the show handles this later on

Um.....Bakugo will not accept that. From the very beginning, Bakugo states that he wants to become the strongest hero, and wants to be #1. Plus, antiheroes are considered criminals....in the hero society. He isn't power-hungry, he just wants to beat the competition.
