@@dragoncat5767 possibly but, it's leaning more towards a fourth wall break cause Bakugo is the sole person in the whole series who does it. Even in the beginning when he joined class 1 A there was a time he called everyone extras. This is just one example out of some others. Horikoshi is definitely doing it on purpose.
@@cordingkarma1139 yeah, but even at that time, wasn't it the students who came to see class 1A? The only 4th wall break i remember is aoyama staring at the screen
Deku wasn’t even employing OFA offensively and he was extremely fatigued and he still managed to handle his classmates. His danger sense quirk did not go off because 1A did not have malicious or evil intentions. This is a glimpse of how powerful Deku has become without even using OFA on offense.
Exactly. He was just trying to get away from the yet they couldn't stop him. He only used three quirks but he only used those three quirks to get away. He didn't use it offensively only defensively yet they couldn't do shit 😂
I also think it's because even if 1A tried, they couldn't cause him harm. He's simply too strong compared to them now. If he used OFA even a tiny bit in this situation he would've serious injured all of them. He legit couldn't use it otherwise he'd hurt them. Kind of hard to sense danger from people that can't cause you any harm.
@@Abadeez Okay i know im late but thats probably one of the reasons why Deku said they couldn't keep up, because even at such condition and refusing to retaliate,he still almost got away multiple times(he probably only failed because he finally wore himself out against them),But still, the fact he was only caught because he was too tired to do much (And even then,Barely) only further proved his point, that theres only person that can actually keep up with OFA
One of the best moments in MHA imo, and to those upset deku didn’t stay like this for long, he was never meant to. Him going through what people call his “edgy phase” was simply him pushing himself in the wrong ways. And it’s not like he’s completely back to being happy go lucky afterwards either, seemed like his character just matured.
The brevity of Dekus vigilante arc made it feel shallow and pointless to me, it took the all of the weight out of the transformation and felt like a throwaway idea
I really thought MHA was going towards protagonist becoming the anti-hero or antagonist arc. I finally caved in to reading up to this chapter in the manga and I still cried to this. I can't wait for this to be animated. 🥺
I'll say this. I know cops that pull overtime shifts and all nighters and don't sleep that much. So they can work harder. There's nothing dark about it. It's selfless and nice knowing that there's people out there doing that. But it's not a super big deal. Idk why mha sees that as such an edgy thing.
2:19 cool little detail that not many people noticed, he stopped using OFA to break free from his tail because he knew using OFA would be too strong, but its crazy because he used his core strength to break out as well.
@@Coralscove and that was basically in the beginning of the series. By this point, as the doctors said before, his body is not the same, it's been changing, developing and adapting over time.
@@Coralscove people forget when he was done cleaning the beach, he carried All might in his muscular form on his arms. Like, a whole ass 2m tall, 100Kg dude without OFA.
@@cashewking8645he didn't change lmao. If he remained as dark deku, he would NEVER reach the end of the story. As much as it was badass, it was not sustainable and he was getting weaker every moment he faces an enemy. But now that he knows the world isn't black and white, it is guaranteed that he will stop being a basic protagonist with hero complex
@@IAmMega yea it was that phase others wanted to see more of. Him abandoning all morals thinking he has to go in alone or else everyone around him will die. It's that phase that was very short. Yea I know about all everyone has been saying and how the sorry goes afterwards I've read the manga.
I don't even partake in this fandom, but I was genuinely choked up at the incredible artwork, writing and sentiments of all the characters. This is genuinely amazing writing
@@daanstrik4293 if you wanna check out the MHA manga I highly recommend. I haven't been keeping up with it but I remember that the War arc had insane visuals that the anime wasn't able to translate all that well, especially during the Shigaraki v Deku 1v1
Man at first i thought uraka being emotionless was a flaw but now it makes me think that shes matured and she isnt relying on deku since she realises the burden he had all along
8:02 "my body moved on its own" That's exactly what happened in ep 1, when Midoriya ran to save Bakugo from the mud villain, and what All Might told Izuku about heroes when he gave him One for All. Man, I love Bakugo's character development so much. He has changed so much in these 6 seasons. This scene really made me shed a tear, can't wait to see this in animation!
He did not get that much of a character development arc. Even Endeavour has a far better character development arc and redemption arc better than Bakuhoe
I absolutely love this part of the story. All the good that Deku has done comes back around and helps him. Iida's line after grabbing Deku's hand, so beautiful!
I know for a fact that when I see this fight animated ima cry. Even though I know it's a relatively short fight, I wish it would take an entire episode. And if this isn't one of the best fights ever made by bones, I'm losing it
Good thing every class in MHA remembers deku who helps them a lot from the toughest situation and it takes a lot of time to encourage all of them. Now the tables have turned the MHA 1A class helps Deku to remember everything and they repay him for the sacrifice he made especially Bakugou as the number 1 rival
Just shows that he became more humane and actually acknowledge something that is far beyond his reach and him apologizing is one way to say to Deku that "alright, you surpassed me and I'm alright with that"
@Indra Rahmadani actually I do feel like that needs to happen, I think it will, once all the afo stuff has died down I reckon bakugo will challenge deku
@@phenomsrandoms6783 i will be very mad if they somehow are still on par with some shitty plot, bullies need to get bullied sometimes, and bad, all of the crap that Bakugo did to Deku, multiply that, make him feels like an ant fighting a god, make him feels like a trash "Words aren't enough, i don't need your confirmation that i surpassed you, I AM STRONGER THAN YOU, now eat sh*t" Then proceds to humiliate Bakugo in every possible way
@@phenomsrandoms6783 I'm not hating Bakugo, i just hate a character trait that underestimate people and feels like he's the hot sauce, just like Sasuke Taka version, yes they can change to be better BUT BEFORE THAT, give them a satisfying *ss beating please, no equal fighting, don't make it a close fight like Naruto vs Sasuke final battle, that's just stupid, humiliate them, they need to learn to cope
Even though Deku's rogue phase is often chalked up as his 'Edgy Emo Phase', I can still understand why he was forced to be backed into that corner and was made to feel like it was the only way. AFO made things very personal with him with his "It's your turn next" message. AFO has a search type quirk so Deku feels like he can never stay stationary in once place for long, hence he is always on the move, never even sleeping. AFO keeps sending assassins after him, implying that anyone around him might get hurt in the fights. That is why he is so eager to get away from the people he cares about and would rather be alone. AFO and Shigaraki are now basically in full power where Deku has mere days to complete One For All, while juggling all the six quirks inside it, which are 9 times stronger now than their initial selves, close to uncontrollable. AFO implied that all the burden was only Deku's. He has to shape up fast, or the world falls apart. His rogue phase is not just his mind breaking or just by his choice. It was also, in a way, forced upon him by the circumstances created by AFO.
There’s no such thing as a painless lesson, they just don’t exist. Sacrifices are necessary, you can’t gain anything without losing something first. Although, if you can endure that pain and walk away from it, you’ll find you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Yea… a heart made Fullmetal
*It takes a lot of courage and strength to stand up to your enemies, but it takes more to stand up to your friends.* *I can’t remember where I heard that but it came to mind...*
1 more actually. Next episode is him fighting that puppet villain who gets taken care of pretty fast. The second half of the episode should be Deku vs Class 1A.
@@stormbringer7773 i think next episode should show deku searching More villains to interrogate, the fight with all might, and the end of the chapter the panel with get out my way
I've kind of been where deku was. I mean people's lives weren't in danger like that, but I refused helped. I believed my problems were mine alone. I was convinced it would be selfish of me to try and pawn off my burdens onto another person. In fact I felt compelled to take in the pain of others and support them. I suffered silently because I felt it was just the life I was meant to have. It took a lot of people reaching out for me to realize that there are people willing to take a small part of that away from me. They wanted to be there because they know I could be greater if I just let go of this feeling of being responsible for everyone. In fact I was being selfish by refusing their help and assuming they couldn't handle the weight of the responsibility I feel. In the end, I came to understand that I was really just punishing myself unconsciously. My perceived burdens were a form of self torture for all my faults and failings. It was more comfortable to be in pain than accept that I had given it my very best and it wasn't enough. I'm in a healthier place now. I'm still the rock of my friends and family. I'm always there to lend a hand or sit and listen closely. I just now know when I've taken on too much and don't feel guilty for taking the time to ensure I'm doing ok.
I kind of like how they did it. The pacing of it could be a bit more spaced out, but it still showed just how committed Deku is to his friends, just how dark and dangerous that makes him without having him cross lines, and he’s still able to be pulled back by his friends before it was too late.
For some reason I don't feel okay at this precise moment. I don't read this manga (only watch the anime); but I came across this AMV and made me cry so damn much. Being alone is damn bad; but not being able to realise you have people caring about you is way worse... Amazing video! I'm so excited about watching all this in the anime 😭
@@4dskakarot193 I agree, these are going to be heroes, deku us stupid to leave the school just to make sure they dont get hurt. This kid has the IQ of a t rex
Can't believe the number of nincompoops who really think the class won not because Deku was worn out, exhausted, sleep deprived, and holding back but because they just can.
"Your even drawn differently from us the rest of these days" "Are we just a buncha npcs to you?" Bakugo, dude. You gotta stop breaking the fourth wall like this lmao
It took all of them to keep up with an exhausted deku who was purposely holding back and not fighting back he literally could've one shot them all at the start of the fight had he tried
@@jamesandthings4860 that's literally not the point of this right you morons don't understand story and depth. Go watch DBZ if you want powerscaling and braindead fights
This is honestly one of the best fights in MHA because it's not even a fight of raw power, it's a mental battle and them trying to get through to him by bringing up stuff he's done for them even though a couple admitted they didn't know that well it's obvious how much of an impact he's had on them from the start and the bakugo finally apologizing and actually calling him izuku instead of deku shows how much he actually meant to bakugo as a friend
@@soloboy73882 yeah, and he only lasted a minute. Author doesn't like anything dark or actually serious when it comes to the protagonists. Even the Endeavor "issue" will lead to Todoroki forgiving him
I would like to believe that they are saving the season budget to animate this fight, It doesn't have to be epic like the movies, but if they raise the quality and add the voice and music/setting that it doesn't have in the manga, it would be perfect.
I like how this scene mimics saving Bakugo from the villain encampment with Iida catching Deku's hand mimicking how Kirishima got Bakugo's. They really used everything they learned from Deku in this fight which is just emotionally satisfying.
To everyone saying "If Deku used offense he would have taken them all even in that state". Duh.... He knows that, they know that, they weren't actively trying to hurt him either as Deku points out himself as nothing they were doing was triggering his danger sense. He just wanted to give them the slip and they were just trying stop him from giving them the slip and to point out to him that he was being an ass and gonna slip up and get fucked up if he kept trying to do it all on his own without support.
I love how this fight also shows just how far the rest of class 1-A have come over mastery of their quirks and have invented new ways to adapt them like Pinky using 0.1% toxicity with her quirk to create a net
When Mineta says that, he's implying that his loyalty and admiration for Deku and his ideals is so great that it's the biggest reason he's out there trying to get him back. Mineta is a full-blown established pervert, but Deku is a peer he can relate to and look up to: the first person to recognize just how useful and versatile his quirk could be when they were up against the LoV in USJ. People can have a love deep and innocent enough that it doesn't go straight to sex -- it transcends it.
Is it just me or the songs (or atleast the last one - Battle Beast - Eden) really goes good with the story that we are watching? (Sorry for my english)
I think what makes this scene so good isnt even the fight. Its just the fact that as scarily powerful Deku is none of them were scared of him harming them, cause they knew that if they got hurt in this fight it would only really damage him way worse then he could damage them.
I’m seriously choked up about this… out of everything in this anime… this was my favorite part… Deku… has given everything for everyone… he was saving everyone, until he was to be the one that needed to be saved…
Not even. Deku did all of that while only jumping and running away. Even trying their hardest, if deku was to actually fight back lmao he would body them with zero difficulty. Tokoyami aswell lmao, baldur anhk has nothing on zeta deku lmao.
Deku rn is more powerfull or at least as powerful as prime all might. They would have been completly destroyed if he wanted. I think that not even endeavor+jeanist+hawks can deal with deku that easily.
God A class is horrible at listening, So what if you help him so what, All for one is a really warning and theyre all trying to retreat with Midoriya, Not an option for me, In any case Deku is welling to to fight for long and solo.
Literally Deku was already worn out by One For All. He literally didn't have the potential to continue fighting and going after All For One and Shigaraki. So, therefore you clearly don't understand that Deku was worn out.
@@dm1136 THANK YOU!! Finally someone understands!! Deku was already tired out, and he was about to captured before he was saved by Bakugo and the rest of his classmates.
@@darkwinter2009 I wasn't born yesterday I know that, But A class is interfering here and trying to discourage Deku, I know when he needs the break, The score gotta be settled one way or another, Otherwise its all wasted

If you told me back in 2020 when I started watching mha that deku would fight his classmates not in training but actually fighting I would have laughed damn I can't believe we came to the point where this happened

8:26 Bakugo you gotta be real specific. He just said, "I'm sorry for everything" to me that ain't enough. It felt forced to me. He didn't say sorry to what he told Deku to do in middle school, for the pain and suffering he caused him. Now I don't know if he just didn't want Class 1-A to know but still doesn't make up for it, and the fact he was talking mad trash about him when he could've ended all of them.
How did Bakugou saying sorry feel forced when he could've done it any other time, if he was the old him he wouldn't have done it in front of so many on-lookers since he would've wanted to keep that pride
Bakugo did mention that what he was saying in the moment probably wasn't going to change anything between them. I think Bakugo knows that a simple apology isn't enough to mend the problems between them, but he felt he _had_ to get the apology out, if only to keep the anxiety from burning a whole in his chest. This isn't the end of his redemption between himself and Izuku, but the opening act on a long road to true forgiveness.
Everyone here talks about how Deku was tired and did not mean to hurt anyone, still he managed to beat up the entire class ; they don't seem to understand that the entire class held back as well to not hurt Izuku.

I might be crazy to think this but I think dekus real quirk is something the doctor couldn’t even find. I think it’s something deeper than physical manifestation. I think his quirk is completely mental , something the doc couldn’t find . I think deku actually has a quirk… and that quirk is strategy. He literally brain storms like no one else, he comes up with outcomes and possibilities fast, he also studies other peoples abilities like no other. He utilizes the quirks he manifest at a super rapid rate too… idk I could be trippen but I also think I’m on to something….
It'd be bad if he has his own quirk. He'd die young, being quirkless means that after everything is done, he can live a normal life. Quark means after everything is done, he dies to old age in his 30s. Don't understand why people still want him to have his own quirk
