Sorry if this insults anyone with Tourette’s, I have no personal experience with the nor have I met someone who has it. This is the based off of people I’ve seen on TV or Tik Tok with it
I have a few tics (I DONT HAVE TOURETTES NOR AM I CLAIMING TO!) And one of them is a light cough or a very aggressive cough and I wake up from choking and I have a lot of throat problems aswell
Just so you know torrettes isn’t just tics, you need to also have adhd and ocd to be considered for having Tourette’s. I think he just has a tic disorder
That's false. It's true that it's ot just tics, but, as someone with diagnosed Tourette's, I don't have ADHD or OCD. Part of what you said is true : Tourette's generally comes with other "disorders"/problems. It can be aggressivity, ADHD, OCD, immaturity, implusivity, depression, anxiety, moodswings, sleeping problems, etc... It's a pretty vast spectrum. The only thing that doesn't change is that people with TS have tics. They can be either physical or audible(?) or both. Not everyone with TS has the same tics, the same amount or the same frequency. For exemple, mine is always mistaken for a sneeze lol
TS causes people to have “tics”. Tics are sudden twitches, movements, or sounds that people do repeatedly. People who have tics cannot stop their body from doing these things.
