you probably dont care but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my gf lately =)
Its not always about speed, shooting, tricks. this video shows us what a player Alex is. Not easily get down, warrior mentality, a true captain, fairplay, sportsmanship, he shows us how a true footballer should play. His leadership on and off the pitch, his calm personality, and not mentioning his tremendous and effective skills. That explains the standing ovation he received on this game (he also got one on madrid's home). we miss you, Captain! C'es solo un Capitano, Alessandro Del Piero!
Free kicks, ambidextrous, passing, vision, ball control. Del Piero is my favorite player ever. His heading wasn’t the best, then again he was short. He wasn’t fast, but he had skills. A fine damn leader and the greatest captain for Juve. Better than Platini. I think Ronaldo Luis Nazario is the most complete footballer the world has seen, even if his prime only lasted a short time. Unbelievable player, him and Romario were out of this world.
Alex Del Piero the eternal Legend of Juventus. 4:23 = 99.9% of players would have dived for a sure penalty, this is the type of class that is extinct in football today..Vidic you know it would have been a penalty if you had tackled Rooney don't you?
@@L3ONARDO07 Why? Rooney wasn't a diver. He could pick up Ronaldo, Nani or Ashley Young... And by the way... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nHgzLYxP0gE.htmlfeature=shared
@@eliof.7310 You know what. I stand corrected, you win. I do think in a friendly game things are more laid back. However EPL commentators are so obnoxious, “never going past vidic no chance” No disrespect to Vidic or Ferdinand but to imply the legendary Juve captain had no chance vs EPL defenders at that time is laughable. Yeah it wasn’t the golden years of Serie A. But this man went toe to toe against arguably the best defensive players and tactical defensive system of all time. EPL was not as competitive as it is now. This was a friendly match, and Del Piero was man of the match.
DEL PIERO might not be the fastest player and shoot with power. But man his dribbling and talismanic play is carrying juventus and almost make them the team to be terrified. shooting is absolutely hard to save if you look at his shots, is not the most powerful, but you just don't know how to save most of the times. Coming from Utd Fan
@anthony he was as fast as IL fenomeno (Brazilian Ronaldo) at 97.....del piero was voted consistently as the best second striker in the world in the times of Brazilian Ronaldo. His vision on the field though was better than ronaldos, although Ronaldo overall was a better player.
@@vinlondon8904 r9 better finisher and header, adp is better at dead ball, vision and passing, other skill they basically on par before adp injury.. Without the injury to both players r9 and adp will have a rivalry like messi and cr7..
Del Piero always got great respedt in England...clubs wanted him fans loved him. I remember as a young boy watching Juve v Parma a Del Piero hat trick in his first season. You just knew that he was something out of the ordinary. Thanks for the memories Alex
I've seen many players through out in history of football many genius and legend player but prime CR7 n messi is uncomparable, unmatchable they're eternal ❤❤
Maybe he would have been appreciated even more if he was a man utd player who knows. But when the teams shook hands, giggs + del piero + scholes, that's the greatest sight ever on a football pitch
I forgot how great that man back then... Thx for uploading this video. That man was the reason why i love football.. but sadly not anymore, no Del Piero, no football, bye juve...
un grande campione come uomo come calciatore, sempre pronto con la sua grande umilta a essere campione anche le poche volte che gli e' toccata la panchina, come contro la Germania 2006 e' entrato ha segnato immenso campione uno dei piu grandi calciatori italiani
This friendly shows just how bad Juve's team was at the time - useless fellows like Iaquinta and Poulsen, totally unworthy of del Piero. It's a shame that the Juventus management didn't give him the team mates he deserved between 2007 and 2011. Thank goodness Juve have moved on from this terrible years.
There is this bound between Manchester United and Juventus. Never heard fans or the team directors saying anything to each other but always praising each other. Now in 2018 we have the chance to see that old fair play between the two again.
