Thanks Shubham for your heart touching & appreciating words. It means us a lot. You can refer the book "Modeling and Simulation Using MATLAB-Simulink" By Prof. Shailendra Jain.
What is the difference between this Z inverse delay and transport delay ? If, I have to give pulse to a complementory switchs suppose IGBT or MOSFET in an inverter. One gate pulse is directly given. But other switch is provided with some delay. Which delay should I use z inverse or trasport delay ?
With Z inverse delay block, delay is provided on the basis of samples. While with transport delay block, delay is provided on the basis of time directly. To operate the complementary switches of an inverter, you should use NOT gate option available in Logical operator block.
@@info4eee I know that NOT gate is applied. But which delay is used?. If I am using transport delay then it is placed before NOT or after NOT. I have to build real hardware circuit and pulses are to be given through arduino thats why I am asking bcz to protect the DC source from short circuit.
@@avinashmaurya8381 To generate switching delay in switching sequence, You need to perform following steps: 1) First of all generate switching sequence (S). 2) Now delay switching sequence by using delay block (S_D). 3) Thereafter, Combine switching sequence (S) and delayed switching sequence (S_D) using AND gate under logical operator block. Now AND gate will generate desired switching sequence.
Mr. Anup Mallick Ji, Sampling time decides the number of samples used to form the sine wave in 1 sec. While delay time is decided on the basis of period of sine wave.
With -1 inherited value, suitable sample time is decided by MATLAB automatically which is not fixed. But if we want to create the simulation with fixed sample time then we put desired value here like 50e-6.
Hello Caligula, Nice observation. Actually, We have the fixed schedule for the videos on INFO4EEE RU-vid Channel. New video on MATLAB Tutorial is released "Once in a four week" that is why these two videos are private and will live in upcoming two months.
