Delegation of Taiwan youth led by Ma Ying-jeou visits Shaanxi 

The former Kuomintang chairman Ma Ying-jeou has led a group of 20 students from Taiwan on a visit to the mainland.
On Saturday, they visited the Xi'an branch of the China National Archives of Publications and Culture, which is located in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
Liu Chengyong, director of the China National Archives of Publications and Culture, introduced the selected collections of the archives to Ma during his trip.
Ma praised China’s endeavour in the preservation of ancient texts and emphasised the importance of the education of ancient texts during the visit.
On Friday, they visited a plant factory of Yangling agricultural hi-tech industrial demonstration zone in northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
Later on Friday, Ma Ying-jeou and the delegation visited the Yongning Gate of the ancient city wall in Xi'an.
Ma arrived in the Chinese mainland on Monday for a 11-day exchange visit.
