Undoubtedly, this album was a banger. While I appreciate that they were a group that liked to continue to experiment and move on, I think it's pretty obvious that after the success of silence, they had a more commercial approach. At least, that's my outsider perspective. I would have been perfectly happy with another 10 albums like this. Edit: And hey, in the off chance that Delerium ever see's this, I'm sorry because I'm sure that is ignorant. I still love every album thereafter, this album was just... in it's own league.
@@Sycophantichallenger life isnt a constant expansion, we go through peaks and troughs, expansion and contraction. This was a peak, Im sure they'll come up to another peak at some stage after a period of going in a new direction. We can't be peaking all the time and its not fair for listeners to expect of that artists that they appreciate. To expect that of an artist would be expecting something very unnatural and putting an inordinate amount of stress on them.
