Vinayak is sooo involved in himself that he doesn't even acknowledge the news that changed history, one dialogue says soo much about Vinayak! I bet every little dialogue in this movie is well thought out!
Also Vinayak saying " ek hi chiz ko khane se swad khatm ho jata h" reflects the irony on the situation where vinayak himself is repeating same process of digging gold coins not realizing ki "ek din swad khatm hoga"
I want to act in stories like this as an actor through out my life to play great carecteristic in great stories hope to work soon and entertain amaze and stun people with my acting skiklls
I don't know who still remembers the end scene where he encourage his son to take that potli but he didn't and that satisfactory smile on his face says everything
The best thing about the movie was the relationship between parent and son. who sees his own greed in his son reflecting his own personality ,which He tries to correct in the end by sacrificing himself and letting his son know the imp of love and care more then money.(the same thing his mother wants him to be learned in the beginning) tries
If you don't encourage this kind of film, then Industry will keep serving you movies like Grand Masti and Great Grand Masti. Lots of love and respect to Soham Shah. You are true filmy geek man !
I just love how they deleted this scene just to keep the movie short and crispy for the audience, despite all the production value that went into this scene. As a creative myself, I can only imagine myself spending so much on art direction and production and not even including it in the film. Love how everyone on the team has worked on this film. Saw the movie in 2018, first day first show along with a 3 friends in my college, I still remember, initially they were cussing me for bringing them so early to the theatre and making them bunk the lecture, but boy oh boy, 10 minutes into the film and they were just grateful, because apparently, I made their day. I was actually very upset when people weren't talking about this movie much back in the day, but I'm so much happy now that the people are finally realizing the worth of this film.
This is probably a preview cut. they fix this kind of thing in post-production, before the final release. Also, notice that the voice of Pandurang is not properly dubbed, it is different in the second half.
@@SweetSourPickle he is from rajhasthan 4times he came nd gone from mumbai..... He made money out of real estate business nd did few movies as well......Sohams all movies r masterpiece ....... In 2012decided to invest in tumbbad he invest 5crs movie got released aft 6 years nd earned 13crs....... Movie deserved to earn 100cr such a masterpeice
It was surprising that Vinayak actually wanted to give the guy money even when he didn't ask for it. He wasn't entirely greedy, and had sympathy for poor people at least.
ai lekar aayi thi, barf ka gola ( tells us about the one gold coin his mother brought for him) vinayak then says," har baar khane se swaad kaam hota jata hai" indicating that after having so many gold coins ,he has lost lost his passion for it.
These ambience of early 1900s are amazingly shot and directed. Look at the scenes guys. Now amazing these tumbadd team drops a full series with new story of 1900s with those shots. It's almost unbelievable
These films should be the face of our film industry. Please promote these. Make people go-to these. This is truly Indian flavor in every sense. And the depth of production value is worth redeeming... Re- release!! re-release !!! Tax free!!!! Make people go!!!!💪💪💪🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Good that it was deleted from the film. The camera movement when Pandurang & Vinayak alight from the board was not good. Also the light setup at ice cream cart scene was not matching at different POV. And that voice of change at 3:04
This scene should have been in the film , it shows us more about the father - son bond which would have added more emotional attachment at the climax. Great film, great scene, great cinematography.
Ye scene show karta hai ki vinayak ko rqghav ki maut ka koi afsos nhi hai and usko regret hai usko ek time par dost bola tha. And vinayak ke liye greed or money jyada matter karta hai azadi se bhi jyada. And vinayak freedom main believe nhi karta sirf money ki power main karta hai..
Sir your voice music in the movie and the suspense in movie makes it more entruiging engaging and entertaining the audience love it on all platforms hope Tummbad 2 will come really soon thanks❤ Wish to meet an artist like you just wow 😊
I'm lucky. I watched this masterpiece in 2018. In theatre. my 2 yr old daughter started crying by listening the sound so I missed few scenes especially the dadi one.. yesterday I watched it again in Inox with housefull theatre
I see why you had to let go of this scene. Continuity and sound would do that you. Must have been really difficult letting go of this wholesome scene, but this would have taken away from the movie as a whole.
"baba agar apke pass dunkiya ka sara sona hoga to kya koi aisa kam hoga ki aap use na le". How the hell they didn't include it in final cut. it completely explains the ending.
It's disappointing that this film didn't get worldwide release Please try to do that from the profit of Indian re-release It's a humble request This movie deserves global attention & another wish is that you make a global film with Rahi Sir in near future soon He deserves global attention too
Sahum no one I believe no one ever made this kind of visional movies, and the way you portrait the Britishers era and environment, you're really mad man at film making. And the political thought goes behind the scenes is just wonderful detail it completes all emotions and gives to feel that era.. Best movies are not made for people it made for the director.
We all know this is one of a epic movie, And we all know how bollywood films are being made these days. Totally awful. And this masterpiece will always be special forever. While looking at the scene itself I feel like I went to that era. Something magical.
Sohum sir, why was this scene left out of the final cut of the movie? It adds more depth. It could have been kept right? Its adding value. Then why leave it on the editing table. And the scene itself must have cost a lot in production. With so many extras and the independence week dilog? Acha mil gayi azadi? Casually It didn't matter to him either ways. Cause he had found his freedom. Its one of those naturally shot scenes. Which is becoming a rarity in todays movies. Even period dramas are over the top. Hyped and out of sync This scene was a supeb piece. Please include it on the directors cut.
The Lights Changes As The Camera Angle Changes At The Ice-Cream Stall...!!! Thanks GOD That This Scene Was Deleted...!!! Otherwise Many Of Us Could Have Noticed This Change And Would Have Made Video Of Funny Movie Mistakes Of This Film...!!! By The Way This Film Is The Greatest Ever Movie Project Of This Decade...!!!
