My father is an army men ....i have been living in cants from my birth and we son of army personals can only know who we feel when we get out of cantt area ... its like moving from some developed country to a developing one .. the air the atmosphere the greenery the silence, the trumpets playing the last post call are some of the many things which civilians can never cherish ... Believe me not only delhi any cantt in india is 3 decades forward then any other part of the country in terms of cleanliness; roads infrastructure and environment. ..... its a part within india but way forward than india ....

Well, Maintenance and beautification of cantonments is done by civil servants of indian defence estates services. Defence bases are far more well maintained than the cantonment areas because of non interference of the general public in the defence bases.

Door to door garbage collection should be in every corner of India not only in Delhi & up.

Also Delhi district managed by NDMC is the second cleanest area in india. Though delhi is getting cleaner day by day the outskirts and old delhi is not something to be proud of.

If you are in train from palam to sarai rohilla you will see people defecating on railway tracks jn the morning. In this route Delhi cantt station also come. This shows a very bad image of country's capital. Mobile snatchers, transgender, small thieves make situation worse. I request government must take action.

What’s the point people still drive like a bunch of sheep. Educate them to drive in their own lines, strict the laws. Countries like Malaysia have better road laws then India. World still thinks Indian streets are dirtiest because the reason is the way people see it. If people drive like animals it will look like animals.

हमे खुशी है कि स्वछता आगे बढ़ रही है,लेकिन ये काफी नही है यदि दिल्ली को छोड़ कर अन्य राज्यो को देखा जाए तो स्थिति विपरीत है,उदाहरण के लिए अब शहरों में बाढ़ जैसी स्थिति बन रही है क्योंकि राज्यों की ड्रेनेज प्रणाली ध्वस्त है,सरकारी मशीनरी और प्रशासनिक तंत्र अपनी जिम्मेदारी सही से नही निभा रही है।पीआईबी से मेरी एक सिफारिश है कि आप अच्छे उदाहरणों को जरूर दिखाए लेकिन उसके साथ अन्य राज्यों को उनकी जिम्मेदारी याद दिलाने के लिए उनके राज्यों की गंदगी को भी दिखाएं।
