My request to all my Indian friends , please pay attention to the cleanliness of the country... I will do my best also.. Let's make INDIA clean together.
Wow, India looks more peaceful than I ever imagined. Love from Sri Lanka! If India grows, it not only benefits Indians but will also be great for Sri Lanka, as India is one of our main investors. I would love to see India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Nepal, and the Maldives become as prosperous as European countries very soon.

200 INR was very fair price, I paid 300 in January during my visit to India. And I used to live near your Hotel for like 8 years. So the price was very genuine, you are changing the state border during that commute .
As an India It is very sad for me but we should accept the reality that the whole of India is backward because of uneducated peoples. And comparison with Pakistan is a waste of time If we have to compare, we should compare with other countries
@@AjayBEEEEeeArjunyeah I am from Delhi everyone burns crackers weather it is Diwali or wc winning celebration here. Literally did you watch crowd in world cup winning parade????

What is wrong with it, if he calls these auto drivers tuk tuk drivers also he is new to this country. It costs only 50 rupees for 5km but the auto driver charged him 150 rupees extra. This is a scam. These kinds of people are destroying our reputation
I am Indian Singaporean and real scam is Germany i just took a cab from Frankfurt to Bayreuth and I am charged 400 euros which is 35700 rupees for just 274 km absolutely shameful pricing 😅😅
@@able101g standard cost of a country is calculated based on public transport price, train DB duetsche Bahn was costing me 91 euro which is 8000 rupees and plus additional taxi cost from Bayreuth Hbf to my accommodation, it’s still a day light loot bro ..
Tip : If you are not sure about the price you can go with OLA or UBER...Tuk-Tuk is also available there..nd you can also check the price..So you got idea about price...hope soo its helpful for you.🙏🏻🙏🏻
Best check the fare price on these platforms and then you have an ideal price to bargain to. Thats what locals (which is me) also do regularly. Its not just foreigners getting overcharged its us too its just we know how to bargain.
I've been to Delhi last month and always booked the rickshaws with Uber. It worked totally fine and I never was overcharged. Knowing that the drivers have to pay a fee to Uber I gave a tip of about 30 rupees. I think that this was the best way to keep it fair for both sides.
$0.55, (30 rupees), here you cant even buy anything, I went to India, and each time I had meal in the same restaurant I had to give around 200 or 250 rupees which would have amounted to less than $5 , not knowing whether we were supposed to give tip or not?, learned my lessons, next time no tip, regretted should have given that to poor kids instead
Thank you for showing us all sides of India! I always find India a very intriguing country where you can find first world, third world, and everything in between! Can't wait to see you visiting other parts of India❤
It’s really fun to travel around the world with Ken❤! It was the first time I saw such a developed side of India, which added some knowledge to me about India.
in 5 years, you will see lots more places similar or better, India's growth still does't match its sheer number of people, there is choice for plenty of areas to grow
First time I am seeing Ken India tour videos, I am also Indian. Truly telling, If any foreigner wants to see India then don't be stuck with in Delhi only, India is a bigger country and varieties of culture and visit place there though out the country. and most of the place or Town ship is devoloped, can contact us if you want to see and know all about India you need to stay atleast for 1 month.
Don't forget that India is 5th largest economy in the world and fastest growing economy with 8% GDP. 4th country to reach Moon and 1st country to reach South pole of the Moon. India is 4th largest Armed Forces power in the world. It becoming 3rd largest Economy in the world by 2027 & will become a developed country by 2047. 7th largest country in the world. Presently Indian origin Rishi Sonak is PM of UK who ruled India for 200 years. PM of Netherland, Vice President of US Kamla Herish are also Indian origin. India will obviously becoming a powerful country very soon. CEO of this Utube, World Bank, Google and other 10 top company in the world are Indian. Namashete! It's fascinating to see different sides of Inidia, traditonal also modern. And different ways of cooking and big amount of varieties of activities going on on the streets. Ken always making great content, enjoyed a lot, stay safe and positive. Love you and love India from China.
Pro tip, no one in India calls them "tuk tuks", it's only the foreigners. That's why she was confused at 0:57 and thought you wanted a taxi. Next time you need a "tuk tuk" in India, ask for an "auto rickshaw", or just "auto". "yahan auto kahan milega?" (in hindi) "Where can I find an auto here?" (in english) Also, "sukriya" is Urdu, and although some people use it in Hindi, a more proper word would be "dhanyabad". And the 200rs for the auto was a decent price. You could have probably bargained it down to 160-170, but he has to pay toll too.
India needs trillions USD in infrastructure spending, in so many areas , then public cleanliness, public toilets ,city planning , eliminate poverty , better education for the poor etc. I doubt they will ever catch up to China , maybe 3-4 decades.
@@khanhhung8959 Even then it will take decades lol. How many airports ,ports , highway , speed rail , subways , EV , solar , mobile etc. They have tooling engineers that fill 20 football fields. Robots , drones, robodogs etc. They have massive production capacity. Electric power production. Steel , concrete, housing materials , electronics, furniture , just too many.
Last 2 videos are doing so well, good job Ken, 500k subs soon! I was getting a meal today and when the service personnel asked me for drinks I chose Sprite because of you. So refreshing for a hot day!
Thanks for coming to India. Your this vlog shall help many tourists. If a foreigner is coming to any city in India, then he should just watch vlogs related to that city, and that shall make the travel in that city quite easier.
If you think you are get cheated just hire UBER or OLA and match the price actually here you are changing the state boarder so they have to pay toll fee so 200 is genuine and 50 rupees more or less does not matter i think .
There is two parts in Delhi a new Delhi & old delhi , mostly youtuber showed only old delhi side in there video, same for Mumbai too but Mumbai devided in new area & old areas. Its devloping country with democracy so progress going on slowly but good
I am impressed by the cleaner at 15:25 who made him understand the basic texture and taste of Mausambi Fruit by “SWEET LIME”… and the cashier didn’t knew I guess.. says a lot about the education and knowledge
Tuktuks overcharge in delhi not only for forerigners but also for locals thats why most of the middle class in India either use metro service or Uber cabs. You emd up paying similar type of amount actually sometiems much less

Brother, the one who was hitting the glass with his hair at the end was asking for Rs. 100 for one time. If you had spilled the whole glass, he would have given you Rs. 500.
The thing is in India if you get solo ride on auto rickshaw which will cost a lot and if you take shared ride that will be cheaper... although Delhi and Gurugram (Formally Gurgaon) is more expensive than another city. So, basically, he actually charges you as like other locals @KenAbroad
Ken if you don't understand what someone is saying then don't engage in those activities or games. You actually didn't got scammed at the game because the guy had literally told you in HINDI first that 1 shot is 100 rupees and if you are able to hit every glass off the table then you'll get 500 rupees as a reward. Also later after you hit the first shot , he again told you 1 shot done, then you threw another 2 shots. So it's a request to just ask someone else for translation like that woman you asked, before you engage in any activities which could cost you money.
24:58 Didn't the vendor say 20 rupee? Also the kid later says 100 rupees is not the normal price. Isn't there voice to English translation on the phone for Indian language?
I think he just deliberately interact with locals to discover the people, the society and the traditions instead of purely enjoy himself. And he knows the financial risk is low in these scenarios where the maximum you can lose is less than $10 which is nothing for a German. Also, his risk can be lowered a lot when the scammer see he is filming.
@@张三-c1w that is true. But nobody is stupid. A video about scam in India can potentially bring him more views and more money. You don’t see he put this part into the highlight.
Ken though the cost of one throw seems high, the reward was 5 times..thats what makes it exciting. The shopkeeper did not scam you, he did say one shot for 100, i heard it again to recheck it. Since you threw it three times..you had to pay Rs 300.
You did not got scammed. Their rules were: If you will throw out all glasses from maze in single shot which costs ₹100, you will get ₹500. And you made 3 attempts. Just a language barrier.
Hey ken ,instead for buying tickets for metro, u can for for a metro card ,it will have an amount, not need to buy ticket again and again. Look man the main reason they are charging you double price is most likely because you are kind of reserving the whole auto for yourself that's why they charged you ₹200 and also happens to us local also if you want to pay less then try to get autos with sharing with locals so then you won't have to pay much the auto that you took to cyber city if it was shared auto you could've have paid only like ₹40/₹50
Dirty roads in Delhi and clean areas in Delhi both are part of Delhi both are real And If you want see beauti of india then you have to know beauti of india is "nature" and "culture" these things you will find out of Delhi ❤❤ Thank you for coming India 💕

I almost refresh your channel everyday, when upload the new piece? I'm curious about your next expirence in India. you are patient and polite, it's so interesting to me to observe how you deal with the Inida situation.
4:10 The price charged is fair as a toll is charged every time when you cross the city border to enter Gurgaon. Gurgaon is a suburb of Delhi but it comes under the neighbouring state of Haryana.
11:00 cleanliness is a big issue. Earlier people use to think of their locality as their home and tried to treat it same how people behave in their houses. But after so many invasion, chaos and riots after independence that feeling have dissolved a little bit.
@@PradhanmantriBruhh That won't solve it either. The people in this country have no respect and don't care about public property at all. Until there is a systematic change in the mindset of people, nothing will happen
@@nilaksh007partially agree with you as far as paradigm shift of mindset is concerned, rest you can take example of Indore wheure people are supporting their municipal corporation in keeping the city clean, some started seeing others and some by charging hefty penalties .

As an Influencer with a big following its really good that you explain the pros and the cons. However watching your videos for years, you always end with its ok on any bad scamming situations n i think you need to change that. Its really not ok for getting scammed or cheated when we travel. Good if at the end of some videos you write things that your followers have to be very aware of and to be careful about. Btw always great videos you put out ❤
200 inr is a very fair price.. he said it multiple times in his video that he has been charged a lot..its not too much for an auto if you want to go alone in it.. if you want to save money go in a bus or a sharing vehicle.. it will be less
If you wanna go little away from Delhi .. i would recommend you Mumbai, Goa, Shimla, Hyderabad and many more places where you would feel comfortable to go on. Better use uber then tuk tum (known as riksha or Auto on North India). Sorry for the inconveniences caused not all people are good in every other country but my advice for you is that if you negotiating or something you don't understand you can ask people for help they will help you eventually, and can help you not getting scamed.

Hi Mate ! Iam Australian born Indian and I love India so much, we are planning our 3rd trip to India in coming December month that’s time 😮 we get holidays . Just keep your open mind always you will see poor beggars don’t give them money, I am sure you will love your trip, negotiations is the key in India if they ask 100 or 200 rupees it’s cheap , if they say over 500 rupees then they are ripping you off? But pure leather shoes some of the best hand made shoes they sell in India , it’s a treat to your feet, plus some branded clothes. Relax and soak in every moment, Must visit Mumbai which my favourite, try clubs it’s fantastic in Mumbai. Regards Noj Badal iam from Sydney if you wish to come here let me know Cheers
It is not that simple as you said for foreigners. I encountered the same situation in Cuba and understand his feeling very well. No matter how open minded you are, after you get scammed 3 times in a short time, there is no trust anymore. You become suspicious to anyone who approaches you. You probably won't lose too much money, but that insecure feeling makes your trip really annoying.
@stevenk1468 He is not get scammed at all. Just because he won't able to communicate with locals in hindi, that's where miscommunication occurred. For eg I would explain some things in Hindi and you keep saying OK, OK, OK,. That's where this guy fall bcz of miscommunication in hindi. I m an Indian and can say I have seen his all videos and all the priced he paid were fair. I myself has paid this prices on daily bases. And I also want to highlight your attention on one point is that, in india we have a robust culture of Ola, Uber, Rapido, this types of cab services are everywhere in india even in our village. You just need to download the aap and book them that many foreigners who come to India are not aware of and also one more point sir, that many foreign vloggers hired tuk tuk and deliberately trying to pretend to be get scammed just to get Indian audience and their attention so that he may go viral. That's why you can see many foreign vloggers have massive views on their channel. I hope you will visit India, I would like to host you🥰
@@NikhilPanchal-ct3cv I don't speak Hindi neither and I can't judge the price. I just watched a few videos of him. Also in this video in the amusement park, that 5 ball throw for 500 rupees without any present seems like a scam to me. I wonder who will do that at all even here in Germany. Whatever happened to him he seems have lost trust at least to the vendors. As a frequent traveler I can say that price transparency is very important in more tourist friendly cities, normally you will find price tables almost everywhere and get receipt after you pay. I don't know why you don't have it in India.

Trust me you’re missing on a lot of beauty of India and Indian food. And yes, natives are very friendly here for foreigners. Welcome to India 🇮🇳
You can see auto/tuk-tuk prices in Uber. Compare the auto rickshas price to that. 20-30 rupees more than the app is generally okay. More than that, not good.
Thanks a bunch for sharing both the posh, clean and the not so clean areas. A big difference indeed ! That lndian food at Bikanervada looks yummy, a good try, Ken. So sad that you are scammed at the game stall. Well, be more careful then. Anyway, as always, you, as a great content creator, always entertain us with interesting video. Bravo, Ken !!
Whenever taking a local transport -tuktuk , you simultaneously need to check the prices on Uber or Ola ( both apps available on Play Store and iPhone) . Generally the prices quoted by Tuktuk are atleast twice more than the ones on Uber or Ola. Second advantage is that in uber and Ola you get a comfortable AC ride. But there are exceptions to Tuktuk fellows with some being honest and charging the fair price. So doing a comparison is for ones own knowledge and benefit
your videos inform a lot of other travellers who decide to visit these countries, and you should be able to inform others of the reality of travelling, in this occasion being potential over charged (understandably he needed to pay a toll but for other occasions). this is not about the money as other comments say, its about the reality and true experience when visiting that is important to be shared. you should be thanked for your videos not critiqued when sharing the truth : )
