In nyc, the subway cars can range from 55mph to 87mph. Our r44 (87 mph train) been transfered to the Staten Island Railway, it was used on some subway lines however, the train was slightly long for the BMT trains. The Staten Island Railway is shown as a subway route by the mta. However it dont connect with the main system. In the main system oure fastest subway runs on the B,G,W,D lines which has a top speed of 68 mph

It doesn't *range* from 55-87 mph, it's 55 mph max service speed. The R44 only hit 87 mph in a special test run that didn't even take place on NYC Subway track, it was on the LIRR.

delhi is still better in these, we have a separate line connected to airport train and station conditions are great compared to western subways anyday, not boasting but is what is, considering German companies and Japnese companies helped India initially, so it is expected For reference watch benjamin jenks

Watch what you say buddy, I'm a local and yes, while it is not up to high standards, we are catching up, we recently upgraded our track and got a new engine the R211 that is scheduled to enter service by next year and improve commutes, think about those who can't even afford a subway, you should be lucky that both our countries even have subways, so don't take it for granted

Bangalore metro started about ,18 to 20 years ago they cannot complete even 100 kilometres. The roots are decided by the politicians and business Ness locations where they have advantages for them, But not for the PUBLIC INTEREST.

no , bangalore metro started only about 10 to 12 years ago and also in bangalore constructing a metro is very difficult as there are congested roads , traffic increases rapidly while doing metro work and mainly political issues by the way , bangalore is finishing it metro phase 2 by 2024 or 2023 and after that even we will have a metro system with 5 lines and 200+ km length of total metro i live in bangalore

New York City subway is also considered one of the best in the world as it operates over 400 stations with trains running 24/7 for 100 years, whereas the Delhi metro is less than two decades old and doesn't even operate 24/7, and has half the amount of stations of the New York City subway. Also, the railway stations in India are comparatively old to the ones in New York, however, the Indian ones are filthy and abused.

Most of its existing lines were built by the British and the existing lines are in terrible conditions. it is very dirty, cramped, ugly, and crowded. That is so bad, and the trains do not even have doors, which is not safe at all. The NYC subway is dirty but it is nowhere near as dirty as India’s railways.
