Delhi-Mumbai Expressway: Latest Milestone
In this video,I have captured the Beautiful updates of Delhi Mumbai Expressway, a 1,350-km 08 lane access controlled highway.
The 08 lane Delhi Mumbai expressway will cover the Delhi Mumbai distance by passing through six states - Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra and several greenfield sites.
DELHI-MUMBAI EXPRESSWAY - the longest greenfield expressway, will have India’s first animal bridges or animal overpasses. It will be designed to keep the wildlife section unaffected from the new infrastructure. There will be around five such animal overpasses, with a combined length of around 2.5 kms, passing through Ranthambore wildlife corridor and Mukundra wildlife sanctuaries in Rajasthan.
It has been planned with a 120 km/h speed restriction with the option to add 12 lanes later.
Good news for Delhi-NCR commuters as the entire 59 km stretch from DND Flyway near Maharani Bagh to Delhi-Mumbai Expressway at Sohna is set to become operational by the end of this year.

c to seamlessly interlink with major highways such as the DND flyways, Delhi-Meerut, Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP), NH-2 (Delhi-Agra), Delhi Mumbai Expressway, and Jewar airport connectivity highway. Spanning over a distance of 33 km, the project will consist of a 6-lane access-controlled highway with 3-lane service roads on both sides in the brownfield stretch.
Expected completion time of The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be Oct2025.
Delhi-Mumbai Expressway offered a variety of roadside amenities, including hotels, ATMs, food courts, QSR like Burger King, Subway, and McDonald's, as well as retail outlets, Petrol Pumps, and charging stations for electric vehicles.
The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway would be a route that is friendly to the environment. Around twenty lakh trees would be covered by the motorway.
