In one of the most innovative ways Delhi Public School, Kamptee Road, Nagpur, celebrated International Dance Day, organized by the Dance Department of the school with the parents and students online. International Dance Day is celebrated every year to promote art and culture and to raise awareness among public regarding the art of dance.
To commemorate this day two dance videos were shared with the students. The first dance video was based on an Indian Mashup song where all the students of senior classes under the guidance of the dance teacher presented different styles of dance.
The students shared their videos showcasing their skills at contemporary and classical dance, poetic recitation, expertise at public speaking, playing various instruments and a foot tapping dance on the song Namaste.
Apart from this a dance challenge was also given to all the parents and students wherein they stood up together (with all family members) sharp at 9:30am and danced to the music given by the dance teachers.
