LGBT community should lobby the government, court and politicians and make themselves visible as a potential voter base. Then the government can repeal section 377 and make laws against Homophobia and discrimination against LGBT community, as has been done in countries like USA, Australia, UK, Canada etc. Make yourself visible as a potential voter base and see how politicians warm up to you and pour in support for the community.

I'm also gay and single child without Father my mother always used to force me to marry with girl and I can't give this excuse to my mother i m worriying because she already lost her partner 2 years back and if she comes to know about me how she react. I can't understand what I need to do recently I break up with my partner who was straight but we were in relationship from last 7 years but he is also facing the same problem and he told me we should have fullstop our relationship henceforth.now I m feeling too much alone ,what to do I can't understand.

First of all in our School,college and offices in curriculum sex education and Gender education should be compulsory,otherwise so called straight people will never understand the feelings, emotions,difficulties of LGBTQ community.Common people have no knowledge about the difference of Intersex persons and transexuals even . Before all such events, please educate the common people first.Otherwise discrimination ,using derogatory terms will not going to end.
