I hv done this bus journey twice ..its awe inspiring.... It beats all luxury cars and SUV rides. Cuz Nothing is better than a high up seat..broad expanse of a bus window to savour the mind boggling landscapes...i wud highly recommend all ladakh lovers to do this bus once..regardless of how many cars. suv..luxuries u own...it will humle u and help u touch base to open a new chapter of awe n gratitude and compassion in your life ...

मनाली से बस कार बाइक से लेह श्रीनगर से लेह पहाड़ों में पैदल ट्रेक करने का आनंद बैठे बैठे मिलता है प्रकृति के साथ घुल मिल ने का ऐहसास होता है अलग ही दुनिया में जाने का एहसास मैने 2001में दो बार मनाली से लेह श्रीनगर से लेह वेन से गया आज भी नही भूल सकता ऐसी शांति उत्तराखंड हिमाचल घुमा नही मिली

In 2017 I was travelling alone..overslept and missed my bus from Keylong to Leh..continued my journey with hitchhiking by truck..took around 2 days to reach Leh..it is the best travel memory I have...road trip from Manali to Leh is the most beautiful place I have ever seen..

Latest schedule of Delhi-Leh bus- Route: Delhi-Chandigarh sec.43-Bilaspur-Mandi-Kullu-Manali-AtalTunnel-Keylong-Darcha-Sarchu-Pang-Upshi-Leh Distance: 1026 kms Fare: ₹1723/- (Delhi to Leh) ₹655/- (Keylong to Leh) Schedule- Delhi (Dep.)- 3:45 pm | Keylong (Arr.)- 11:00 am --Overnight halt at Keylong-- Keylong (Dep.)- 5:00 am | Leh (Arr.)- 7:00 pm Reverse from Leh at 3:30 am | Keylong (Arr.)- 5:30 pm --Overnight halt at Keylong-- Keylong (Dep.)- 10:30 am | Delhi (Arr.)- 4:30 am Booking for Delhi-Leh route- 1. Book online at www.hrtchp.com. Online booking is available for both Delhi to Keylong and Kelyong to Leh buses. Tickets can also be purchased from Keylong bus stand one day before journey, but it's recommended to book online in advance. 2. Alternatively, you can reach Keylong via Volvo bus and continue from Keylong in Ordinary bus. Booking for Leh-Delhi route- 1. Online booking is available at www.hrtchp.com. When i first saw the HRTC Bus, i was a little skeptical as to what the journey was going to unfold in terms of the travel as well as how the photography was going to be but all of that was blown to smithereens the moment the journey commenced from Keong. The sheer spectacle of the terrain & the surroundings, totally mesmerizing ! Here was an episode that could be compared, perhaps way better in terms of the money & time, with the likes of " The Trans Siberian Railway" or the " Toronto to Vancouver on Rails". The scenery is something that cannot be fathomed as to how much capacity does one have to absorb picture after picture of sheer exhilaration ! Also what i found amazing was, this was such a humble fare, a regular nondescript Bus, Ashok Leyland BS6, modest, pious travelers & yet the journey could be like a " Road in Heaven " kinds ! I have seldom seen such a magnificent videography with almost perfect framing ! The mighty & majestic Himalayas couldn't have been captured more beautifully ! I have been to Leh six years ago & have spent ten great days exploring the terrain yet this particular journey, Manali to Leh by road with HRTC, this is something that got to be on the bucket list of the nature lover, I for certain am going to undertake in future without doubt ! Many congratulations " Himbus" on this wonderful depiction & thanks a million for bringing it to us !! Cheers & keep rocking !! 👌👍👏
