Your video is excellent as I used to do long solo journeys on my Avenger 220 cc bike. I did Delhi-Dehradun, Delhi-Shimla trip last year October-November and now I will take help of your this video to plan a solo Delhi-Manali trip in November I think. You are correct, traffic is very smooth and systematic on this highway despite so much trucks and other vehicles.

Mattu bhai, bade dino baad video aya apka.. Hope you are doing well. Recently went to Kanatal via Rishikesh. The road between rishikesh and Chamba was very road, recently relayed I think. Excellent work by BRO... also, while coming back cam via Mussorie.. I remember your video from Mussorie to Dhanulati and you were saying roads are narrow :).. I am planning for Manali trip in November. Ye video tab yaad aega apka :).. Delhi to Manali is a streatch I think in a go, planes tak to theek hai, jada pahad shuru hue and jam laga, halat kharab ho jaati hai..

Your videos are best for any one who loves to drive ... Your videos are more about the road rather than other things...we can use your vdos as reference if we want to go to same place

I have been through NH 205A, the double lane carriage way which you took after ambala. It is in good shape although it is not the best route if you want to go to chandigarh. If you want to bypass chandigarh from punjab side then this is the route, if you want to bypass chandigarh from haryana side , you need to take NH152 - NH5 - NH 105. NH 152 is the main highway from ambala to chandigarh.

Instead of taking right for Kharar you should have take Ambala - Chandigarh highway till Zirakpur and then have turned left to bypass Chandigarh and then you’ll reach Kharar 4/6 lane highway!

I hope soon we would be able to go from Delhi to Spiti without going to Chandigarh, Mandi or Manali. Expected drive 200 kms in the plains on a 6 lane Expressway plus, 260 kms on a smooth 2 lane highway in the hills. Total 460 kms drive in about 8 hours.

Bhai I am from bilaspur.teen factory Hain cement ki Bilaspur aur uske aaspaas ke area Mein or 10 thousands trucks ha .road to ek month mein Ben ker dobara kharab ho jata ha ... four lane dec ya Jan mein start ho jayaga to bilaspur bypass ho jayaga or kiratpur se Mandi only 60 km reh jayaga .

Bhai hats off to you. Maine bhi kai baar socha same day me Manali jane ka but har baar plan hi cancel ho jata tha family didn't agreed to travel for such long duration. Same day me maine sirf Yamunotri tak ka route kiya hai from Noida in 13 hrs.

The Bilaspur Route has been like this- Extremely inconvenient and disastrous for the vehicle for the last 25 years and they have never ever repaired it. I went on bike 25 years ago and multiple times on car. It had never changed and it will never change. The other route which can also be taken is to go straight from RupNagar towards Anandpur Sahib -> Nangal -> Hamirpur-> Sakaghat (Beautiful place)-> Connects to Mandi. It may take additional time like 1-2 hours but you will save vehicle, fuel and your bones. Never make Trip of Shimla- Manali or Manali - Dharmashala together as it will be quite inconvenient again. Always put black tape on your headlights on any Trip to Himachal as that's the biggest reason cops try to find to chalan you. They are quite rude as well. Don't argue with them as they will be extremely rude with you and your family as well. State authorities have no control over their behaviour. I have stopped going now as I've become slightly old but I wish all of you great and pleasant journey to Himachal as it can rejuvenate you and give you peace for your soul. On hills there is single rule - Stick to left lane always. Be safe and drive safe.
