I started from Guwahati on 9th February at 8.15 am driving my XUV 700 AX5 7 seater P MT. That day I covered 650 kms crossing Assam and West Bengal and spent the night at Araria in Bihar (reached there at about 8.30 pm). Next morning I started the drive at 5.00 and after driving almost 1300 kms I reached Noida at about 11.15 at night. It was an amazingly comfortable drive with no tiredness at all. On that day, the first stop was at Gorakhpur for a quick lunch and the next was a short coffee break on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway. A big thumbs up to Mahindra for making such a fabulous vehicle

Here is my assessment of fuel efficiency.. during the start of the trip (and even after covering 74kms @3:29), the fuel indicator shows full (logical for a long trip). we can be fairly certain that they started with the whole 60L. They then filled up 51.1L in the middle (called out at 7:38). towards the end, when the trip meter shows 1377.3kms (11:54), the fuel indicator shows roughly 30%-33% fuel (18L - 20L left). So, we can say that 91.1 - 93.1L of fuel was used. for 1377.3, that would mean 14.79 - 15.12 kmpl (say approximately 15.0 kmpl). Hope this helps :)

Besides the machine endurane, a word of appreciation for your endurance... well done mate... 18 hours of driving is a feat and although you were humble about it, it definetly deserves many praises... coming to machine, looking forward for a two day journey from Noida to Mumbai in my own 700... you were an inspiration mate...

I have also done Kanpur to Mumbai in XUV 700 on 20 Feb 2022 in under 20 hrs. The XUV is simply amazing and I along with my family thoroughly enjoyed the longest drive of our life till date.

You both have Great capability. The comfort of automatic diesel will definitely get attention for long journey people. One think you miss out the fuel economy in overall trip.

Man I'm watching your video from a far away land and I watch a lot of Indian auto channels and in my opinion, yours seems differently original and sophisticated of all just based off of this video(which is the 1st im watching from your channel). And the rest just feels artificially posh and disconnected from what most of the people. They seem to cater to a very small posh audience in the bigger cities, but yours caters to everyone with that sweeeeeeeet mix of hindi, english and pragmatism and realism. 😃 i'm happy

I did Vadodara to Gurugram (~1000KM) in roughly 15 hrs in my i20 Elite (2014 model) with wife and 2 kids (1 & 5 year old). It was an amazing experience.

I started journey from varanasi on 10 December on my TATA indica 2002 model,and reached mumbai after 38 hours,

Bunny ji.. karne ko toh meri Ford Classic ne 1500 kms kiya tha 22.5 hours mein with 19 or so hours of driving.. 3 hours or so of breaks/stoppages.. 2015 mein.. Panvel-Jog Falls-Panvel (5 am to 2:30 am Sat morning to Sun morning).. woh kar sakti hai toh koi bhi car kar sakti hai!

Which route did you take? We took Ahmedabad Mumbai while coming from Delhi to Pune. Vadodara onwards it's heavy truck traffic on the road. Very tiring maneuvering around the trucks.

Thats the problem with highways, slowly and steadily people start living on both side of the road, which eventually slows the traffic

Hi, Good Evening, I saw your video today. Loved it. I always use to travel by road throughout India. Here I am little counfuse why you went to Nasik?from Jaipur when you took AJMER Highway then from there you should have drove down to strate towards Gujrat whyaya Udaipur from there towards Baroda. From Baroda to Mumbai is only 400 km. You would have reached Mumbai early and save running hours and kilometers. From Jaipur to Mumbai totaly one way Excellent road. You should cross 1000 km. In 10 hours. Don't travel by GPS they always suggest long routes. Don't feel bad I am telling you my experience. Thanks. And best of luck for your future travel. 🙏👍🙂

Yeh toh kuch bhi nai hai.. Main aur Mere Friend ne KTM RC390 se Calcutta->Patna->Kolkata in 22 Hours. Total 1293 KM..Hai Dum ? and in the morning We played Cricket near ECO Park.. came back home at 11:30 AM . Not Tired at all. Prepared Lunch for everyone at home.. Had lunch..Watched TV.. and then went to City Centre for Movie.. After Movie at 7:00 ... Went to Sector-V for a drinking session..Back Home at 12:30 PM. Still not tired.

What was the fuel economy ?

Bhai Maine lucknow to pune via Etawah gwalior total 1500 kms complete kiya tha within 20 hours. Non stop journey with ford ecosport diesel model top speed was 170 from indore to Nashik stertech. Going to do this again in couple of weeks via jhasi route this time. Planning to complete this in 17-18 hrs this time.

I did Chandigarh to Pune and back (in phases) AX7 Petrol… it was amazing… indeed amazing… the comfort… ride quality etc… great vehicle.. but the automation involved is hampering performance. Like for one recent instance-> my AC stopped cooling effectively and when I got it repaired fm the showroom they told me that it was because of an update wrt AC wkg… I don’t 100% trust the reason they gave but if that’s true then it might happen someday that the veh may refuse to start/switch on or brakes may fail and as a customer I’ll never know why…
