There are few things less inspired, and more popular, than your average, everyday, run-of-the-mill turkey sandwich. But, there is a better way. Roasting your own turkey breast at home is easy, fast, affordable, and the quality won’t just rival your favorite deli, but will probably surpass it. Enjoy!

It’s a different freakishly small wooden spoon, actually. This is just a little spice spoon that isn’t freakish or small for that purpose. On the other hand... the ‘real’ freakishly small spoon was a long handled cooking/stirring spoon, the same length as the standard wooden spoons, but just with a freaky-little spoon-bowl on it. Sorry. But at least the memory of the other one is still fresh.....

@@ChiTownJerry : Really? Turkey is my favourite. And around here, I usually have (had since we went into lockdown a week ago) five others with us who have never declined a roast turkey dinner. Breath deep and take in the smell of roast turkey, summer savoury dressing, homemade cranberry sauce....... Now tell me you won’t pick up a turkey on your next grocery run. If you’re in the US, you can get just the breasts and I got one in Maine once that was the breasts and wings. Makes a mighty quick roast turkey dinner. We can always find the half breast portions here but full turkeys often need to be ordered from the specialty farms. Hey, you: stay safe; test negative; stay positive. Best wishes.

@@edwardstahl3369 Yes clearly that does happen, that's the case for a lot of your turkey you buy from the deli pre-sliced, and that was true even 20 years ago when that was my high school job at my local grocery store deli counter, the big loaves of turkey were way bigger than any animal. But that's clearly not what happened here because that's a skin on, bone in part of an actual animal.
