Delicious and beautiful apple and custard pie!
🍏🍎 🍏🍎 To make Apple Custard Pie:
* Mold diameter 21-24 cm:
Custard:
Milk - 250 g
Sugar - 40 g
Corn starch - 20 g
Salt - a pinch
Large egg - 1 pc.
Vanilla sugar - 10 g
Butter - 20-30 g
Dough:
Large egg - 2 pcs.
Flour - 250 g
Milk - 120 g
Baking powder - 6 g (1 tsp with a slide)
Sugar - 100 g (if you like very sweet cakes, you can increase the amount of sugar)
Vanilla sugar - 10 g
Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
Apples - 2-4 pcs. depending on size
1. For the custard, mix the egg, sugar and corn starch and beat until smooth. Pour in milk, cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. After the first bubbles appear, boil for 30-60 seconds. Add vanilla sugar, a pinch of sugar and 20-30 g butter.
2. For the dough: beat eggs with sugar, a pinch of salt, vanilla sugar until fluffy light mass for 3-4 minutes. Add milk, vegetable oil. Stir flour with baking powder, add to liquid ingredients.
3. Peel and core the apples. Cut into cubes or quarters.
4. Grease the mold with butter. Put the apples, spread the dough on top. Transfer the custard to a plastic bag, cut off the edge. Spread the cream onto the dough in a spiral shape.
5. Bake for 35-45 minutes, check the readiness with a wooden skewer, it should come out completely dry without residues of raw dough.
