DELICIOUS CARROT CAKE 🥕🎂 

😢hi all my grandson Keegan loves carrot cake which I made from fatima recipe two years ago and now 2024 he has requested it again but so sad fatima is not around to hear this as she has passed away but her recipes continue to be enjoy by all love and miss her and her baking ❤

First thing that caught my eye are those yellow bowls!!! I have exactly the same from my late grandma - it was a set of several bowls and other bits. ❤️😍❤️. Also that blikkie that you keep your masala in is so retro!!!! As for the recipe: I’m sure it’s delicious 😋. I enjoy making carrot cake/ cookies. I recently used grated apple in my mix cause it was there. I’ve never made frosting, though..

Hi Fatima, I just made your carrot cake and it is delicious. But I don't know if I was dreaming but I added a cup of buttermilk by mistake. I only realized after I made the cake that it does not have buttermilk in the recipe. Don't ask me what happened but I tell you it is absolutely delicious. Thank you. I love your videos Fatima - looked so easy - so i looked up the recipe on your website and I attempted the cake from the recipe itself. After I baked the cake - ilooked at yur video again and realised i did not add salt since it was not listed on the recipe - I hope the cake tastes good anyway!!

I tried the frosting but seems to be way too much butter and it stayed lumpy until i added 4 more cups of icing sugar. Did you perhaps use margarine and not butter? The cake came out lovely

Slm Fatima i never bake in my life since last year i try my 1st try was a banana loaf my family say it was very nice but what i want to say is i made ur carrot cake for the 1st time i took few slice to work that my collegues can taste but when my manager taste she told me it was very nice for someone who can not bake i want to say shukr for all ur videos u help me alot now my frend want me to bake a carrot cake for i feel so proud of myself cause i cant even bake a biscuit but now i try every baking out from ur videos

Hi Fatima I loooove carrot cake. Can you PLEASE CONFIRM where you bought your cake tins. They look like AMC Classic but I'm unsure. They sure do look strong ones. I must mention that the other day my usual whisk was in the dishwasher and I needed a whisk so I remembered ur great idea of using a machine whisk so got mine out and it was perfect.
