My primary school teacher said this to us one time because she spelt dilapidated wrong and lots of ppl (not me) shouted “ miss ur so dumb” then she told us “ let’s say I count up in 2’s *she wrote 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,19 on purpose wrong * if I get 1 thing wrong you shout but if you get 1 thing wrong we will teach u what is correct” (When she says this she means if she got something wrong we shouted at her however when we get stuff wrong she helps us learn from mistakes, she taught us all that mistakes are ok and they actually help us in so many ways) Thank u teacher

I used to say this to my manager that the client would never shy away from escalating that One mistake but would never appreciate the task done right. It is because the Good has been normalised and everything else is an issue.
