L.O.V.E. the mood board idea. It really helped me decide. I chose the original Delina. My main reasons....sitting here in spring 2022, I'm looking for a bright happy fragrance I could wear during spring and summer. I also think I favor the rhubarb over the pear/powder of the exclusif. The original is different! And as I'm building my fragrance wardrobe. I like the difference! Thanks Sal, lovely video and v helpful.

What I've got from original Delina after 5 minutes only Rose water and I found it smell close to the old Dior addict 2 but addict was more beautiful then Delina original.. I bought Delina exclusif I love it .

I've only smelled the dupe from Be Layered. The first kiss exclusive has a strong top note, but the drydown is nice. I didn't like either at first (I had to get used to it). I don't know if it's bottle worthy yet tho

Hi Tia, it’s up to you but for me personally I prefer lighter more easygoing scents for humid / warm weather so I would maybe have gone for Delina la rosée as the original Delina and the Exclusif are heavy intense fragrances. But that’s just my own preference, if the intensity wouldn’t bother you then go for Exclusif :) 💗 hope that helps

To me it’s not heavy on the Oud at all, it’s more the powdery aspect of it that seems to throw some people off. Hope that helps :) 💗

Hi Toni :) thanks for watching! Hm I would say they are both sweet, but Delina original is sweet in a tart way whereas Exclusif is more sweet in a creamy / powdery way. I have read some mixed reviews of Exclusif and believe some have found it old fashioned, but I certainly don’t think it is :) I hope that helps 💗

I have both and The exclusif one is definitely better. Better quality. More refined. I was a bit disappointed by First Kiss exclusif. I don't know if I received a bad batch but the opening has a weird lemongrass smell. It does fade after several minutes but I can't get over it. Delina exclusive is quite expensive but the quality is really there and its beautifully blended. the bottle is a work of art.

Hi Tia, yes Chloe edp is a very intense scent and reminds me a lot of original Delina. For me personally I prefer lighter more refreshing scents for humid / hot weather (I would go for maybe Delina la rosee or Chloe L’eau for example) but it’s up to you 💗

It really is up to you, if you don’t mind heavy intense scents then go for them. They are both beautiful, just very strong so I would find them a bit too much for warm weather. But others may not mind that 💗

I might find it too cloying in very warm weather (same with original), but I suppose you could spray less of it and it would be fine :) it’s strong so a few sprays and you’re good 👍 could even spray some in the air and walk through it for a lighter application. It’s a stunning scent 💗

Hi Celina, I really hope my mood boards in the video might have helped with that a bit? Do you know which ‘type’ of scents out of the two groups you would normally go for? It’s a really hard one for me to judge as I hear so many different opinions on these two, my favourite is Exclusif but I’ve heard reviews describing it as too mature / old etc but I don’t think it is like that. I know most people probably prefer the original, but I’m not a huge fan, to me it is quite tart from the rhubarb and smells very youthful / bubbly. The Exclusif is still bright and girly but with more depth to me, but my first impression was that is smelled very powdery / dusty rose. It is very multi layered and it took me some time to get to know the scent. I tried to make this video as detailed and helpful as possible, so I really hope it can guide you to the best one for you! 💕

Oh, and I’ve heard some say that Exclusif is sweeter than original (some say it is too sickly sweet) but in my opinion they are both much the same level of sweetness and to me, the Exclusif smells more grown up / refined. I can see the original being headache inducing for some if you spray too much. Ultimately I would not recommend blind buying either, it is pretty difficult to judge. I would recommend ordering a sample pack from their website :)🌸

@@SallyMarion OMGGGG I just got my decants from Scent Splits. It’s def EXCLUSIF for meeeee. It’s sexy, with just the right amount of sweet,oud, vanilla. I like Delina but she is more daytime shopping Los Angeles and DE is drinking champagne in the summer in Paris. Ugh in loveeeeeeee

Agreed. I purchased a couple sample viles and tested them against the Julianna's Perfume brand which makes dupes of high end fragrances and Julianna's was spot on and cost MUCH less.

@@SallyMarion Try if You only get a chance 🤔👍 Look, It is Like white flowers ( + sharp tuberose) are sprayed with sweet vanilla and some spices. It is cold and very distinctief and sophisticated, but the same moment, warm and cozy. On my skin It develops into something creamy and poudre ( but not really powdery, Just hint of poeder). It dries down to warm amber with soft patchouli with soft powdery cloud 🤗 Really gorgeus ( i like It more in de winter than in de summer - The flowers are to strong for Warm weather, in my opinion.) I love white flowers ( jasmin is my fav., but here is more tuberose, 🤔) and that is why I love this one 😍 and becouse it's so : one of a kind. Very unique scent - I would Say : lovely!, but with charakter. Very elegant and classy. Perfect for a nice lunch ( or Church):-) Crea. Y and soft, but You'll be noticed🤗👍😊 I Have rather big perfum Collection, but I put this in the top 15 at this moment. I hope, I'm being helpful 😉(?)
