@40:55. that corned beef sandwich rivals the old Carnegie Deli, on 7th Ave. and 56th st in NY. A RU-vid the proprietor, Mr. Levine, shows Joan Nathan how to eat the monster sandwich. Sadly, the deli closed.

The comments on this RU-vid video are hilarious. There are maybe 100 different ways to run a deli restaurant. Taste in food is a lot like taste in art, some people like it and some people don’t.

In from the UK. The only reason I heard of Cleveland was Harvey Pekar and the Cleveland Indians/guardians. But this and the diner video really makes Cleveland stand out. It seems like a very working class place, sort of like Lincolnshire and Yorkshire here. Not a rich or trendy place, but full of really cool people

i lived in metro Buffalo,ny and have never been to Cleveland !! You need to pull in those people for their business, how about bus them in?? feed them, shopping, entertain them, take them back home, a 1day trip! this is a great show!! 😊

Keep it about delis don't throw in a full service restaurant because your friends work there or own it, there are few true delis in this show, most of them were restaurants or diners.

nothing worse then canned soup which he said they serve! no deli or restaurant should ever serve anything canned! make stuff fresh and homemade. I don't eat at this kind of place.

I have had chicken salad almost in every states of United states. To be honest with you no one knows how to make chicken salad the right way. The best chicken salad is made by Julia child. Any other chicken salad is garbage. If yours is as good as Julia then I Bow, if not, then trow it in Trash.

Not every place in Cleveland does that. Yes there are some very midwestern wasps here but there also a lot that try to stay true to their ethnic roots as well.

We NYers have ALWAYS maintained, loud and proud as always, that "WE'RE THE DELI CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!". CLEVELAND?... REALLY? Jeez. That's like the YANKEES losing to the INDIANS in the AL Championship game! Unthinkable!
