Normal tanks are worthy then these chiness one once the heat sensor or temperature goes bad then this whole aqurium is useless and its two expensive . In this amount you can buy a 6 ft tank 6mm glass.
Boss sorry to say, very hopeless set up for chiclids. And the person who has made the set up has no idea about filter and filter media. How come bio media and chemical media is first and then mechanical media. Pls study something before setting up tanks. Sorry for my honest statement, but that is truth. Who all have even little knowledge will agree to this.
Hello sir , thankyou for your honest opinion, even i feel the same , as far as the media i concerned i feel the same it was my mistake to do so , as far as the setup is concerned it was on the customer so we had no choice . I appreciate your concern to come up and write this , thanks 😊
@@aquapetmall thanks for understanding I appreciate it. Chiclids don't like glass stones or pebbles as they don't help in water parameters. Chiclids like sand. Please use Mechanical media first, then bio media and lastly chemical media if at all required. All fish poop and debries will stuck in between pabels which will be difficult to clean. You must educate the customer.
Hi, it is an excellent aquarium, only one thing I found could have improved filteration system by adding an under gravel filer. Since it is 3.5 fr, under gravel filter will have 3 tubes , once the under gravel is filled with fish waste and throws it throught these tubes should be connected to connectors through which water can be drained using cooler water pump, For siphoning. It will help in saving water wastage. It will ensure fish waste is removed completely. And the bio filter you have made will work as a secondary filter to ensure optimum clearity of water too.
@@aquapetmall You're welcome 👀🙂 , it will make it to be a vest experience for the customer knowing they will not have to clean the entire aquarium by having to remove everything. When I had a fish aquarium which was 6 ft in length, 2 and a half feet in height, and 2 feet in width, it gave me crystal clear water for 4 months after which I had to siphon once in four month. And never had to clean entire aquarium, for 1 yr and 6 month. After which I removed the aquarium deciding to have a bigger aquarium built. Do give about 2 inches below under gravel filter, by doing this you get extended siphoning period. Incase of 5 ft aquarium it should give you around minimum 6 months before siphoning is required depending on number of fishes and size of fishes. All the best.
