What happened to the full trailer refurb that was gonna happen? I think the life expectancy of that winch will be days rather than months. And maybe mounting it near the headboard of the trailer would have been a better idea 😅
Thanks very much Tim for the speedy delivery of my order, the extra sweets went down a real treat lol. Looking forward to the next 4 series build video!!
The King, is looking good Tim, like the new Flaps. Should get it sprayed up in ur units colours, it will look sweet.. Looking forward to seeing the Scania rebuilt. 👍👀
tim that trailer you should paint it same as your truck and add some nice lights on it repair all the damage and done and dusted it will look briliant if you do it
That winch looks a powerful bit of kit Tim.. I hope it doesn’t bend the trailer in half!!! 😂😂😂. I thought you were mucking around when you took it out the cab!
I used to work with SDM a lot when I was a crane op there was one guy who would never pull his trousers up so I’d put the wet chain down his crack to wake him up a bit 😂
It all depends on how you read and interpret the Vosa Inspection manual. If all markers are in place and all the lights operate as per, so no white light to the rear, no more than 2 fog lamps etc then I do not see any problem with running Scania lights on a trailer. Just thoroughly read through the manual, section 62 for markers and section 63 for lamps and make sure you've got everything covered.
Shaun is a busy business but he does need to create a RU-vid channel of his own as it is very interesting I went to wright's tools myself when all the balloons was out is good they are still serving or community love the content
In my work I would find it very inconvenient to have a winch at the base of the step frame I’m really looking forward to seeing the trailer finished and what Tim’s plans are for it 🤙
Its all very well putting your lightweight ramps on, but have you now knott reduced what you can load by their weight carrying capacity and the angle is much steeper now, can't see what was wrong with the old ones, nowonder Shaun wants them
Hi Tim I work at Sandersontransport next too king trailers we have a restored 580 4 series and are currently restoring a 3 series and a 2 series we also have many V8 Scania including a 770, if you would like to see them give me a bell 👌🏻
