What you said about riding a motorbike or scooter etc being like therapy is spot on. I did my full bike licence back in January and have randomly gone for a ride at 1am in the pouring rain a few times to de-stress. There is something so soothing and relaxing about riding, especially when you go from a 125 to a big bike and hit the country roads during summer.

Honestly, it's not just riding a bike. I just love being in a place that's usually very busy, no matter if it's a road, building, or whatever, and just enjoy the silence and space at night. Nighttime driving is one of my favorite things to do, especially with the mind numbing music on the radio.

I work at home so as you can imagine it's quite boring. But one of the big advantages of that is that I can put on youtube videos like this and I put yours in picture-in-picture while I'm working and it feels like I'm working side by side with somebody, and it gets me pumped up to work and earn some money, so just wanna say that your vids are a great help for me while working and it's really nice seeing the streets of completely foreign country from mine

Former Mcdonald's employee here, I just wanted to talk about the delivery system and why it's so slow. In the restaurant, the customers that are in store are always first, which is fair enough, but the thing that infuriates me, is that managers tell us to ignore the delivery drivers if it's busy etc.. The restaurant I worked at was the busiest one when it comes to deliveries in the area, and there can be sometimes even 10 drivers waiting for food. They're calling us and waiting for ages and even tho the food for them is ready, we need to ignore them. I would seriously want the delivery system to be re-worked, and despite wanting to give them the food asap so that they don't have to wait and the customers are happy, the managers themselves stop us from giving the delivery side of things a good service.

of course I don't know if it's like that in all restaurants, but it is still really annoying. I don't even think that's a rule, it's just the managers being power hungry. oh and also, most employees don't care about serving quality in deliveries. lots of employees will skip things like putting ice in drinks, even tho that's not a rule, not double lidding drinks, not putting napkins or dips, and giving much smaller portions of fries etc. this is because even if there will be a complain, there's never anything we can do and the customer has to ask for a refund in the app. worst part: even higher roles like managers or crew trainers do that! It might be better in other cities, but it's never worth buying mcdonalds where i live, because the food is just terrible.

Yeah like in London i was an customer in store and had to wait an hour for 4 fish filets and a few milkshakes and it was really busy like 130 people were in that macdonalds and i saw the delivery riders waiting like 2 hours to get the order damn, thank you for telling us how to system goes

@@Chaseki I always thought this was the case. I saw my order sat there for 5+ minutes on the rack and no one was bothering to hand out the orders. I asked the manager if she could hand me my order and she just said "Sit down at the driver table, NOW" - I didn't say anything back (I was furious at the way she spoke to me) then she just said "you know what, get out, don't come back" I got banned for not saying a word back. It's a fucking restaurant, not a primary school lol. I know some drivers can be rude and shove their phones in their face, but I was polite. Fortunately it's not my local one. I've noticed that they like to make the food, leave the order, then when they feel like handing them out, they have to go and make the drinks, but if customers start ordering before they finish making the drinks, you're screwed. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

I never had any delivery drivers banned in the location i worked at, apart from where they would steal the food i think. really unfair of them to ban you for trying to give a fast service to the people buying deliveries. but yeah, it's pretty much enforced on us to just ignore the drivers when it's busy, and when it's a little bit quieter, or you're waiting for food to come out, that's when we can start giving the orders out to the drivers. also that would've been easily solved by just assigning one person to just give the delivery orders out. maybe that's a thing in bigger restaurants, but for me it was usually either the people that do the front (which are 90% of the time busy with in-store customers) or the person making the deliveries themselves, but those people are over occupied too, because there's so many deliveries sometimes that there's literally as stack of tickets.

I rather have the food then the good intentions, lol as if you would care.. atleast you are eating now. The only people who complain are exactly just those people behind their screen. Especially now, there are camera's everywhere.. you better not pay for the food for people they may catch it on camera!! Let them starve! They live in a comfortable bubble of their own, they don't know the real world. So petty.

My husband and I have only just discovered your content and we are HOOKED, we've binge watched it for the last couple of days. We would love to see you do an episode contrasting what it's like to deliver in a rural location that's affluent (maybe Guildford or Amersham for example) then somewhere a little more working class like Oldham, Southeezy or Clackers 😂 (Oldham was voted the worst place to live a couple times). It's absurd to me that some think that people don't do good things without camera. Most of the good deeds are outside of camera anyways. Opening door to someone or return something they dropped is just natural thing to do for me atleast. Buying food for someone is awesome in my books. I do good things because if I can make even a little better day for someone else by doing little things, it is worth it. That light in a bag looks like "it's miracle in this bag, haaaaaaaaaaa". Thank you for making videos, these are relaxing to watch.

algorithm picked me out for the Amsterdam vid (because I'm Dutch) and honestly it's suprisingly fun to watch these things. I've only seen the two videos now so I do wonder if things are always this relatively smooth in terms of friendliness of people (both restaurants and clients) and being able to get a reasonable amount of money out of your hours. Guess I'll find out a bit by just watching more videos
