The screens all interchange between, dell, lenovo, acer, etc. However if it doesn't fit that's between you and Amazon. Hope this helps.

I haven't fixed any that are touch screen all of ours are non-touch and I haven't experienced any of them with the screw problems. it may be an issue that they'll may have over tightened them.

I got the screwdriver set off of a snap-on truck and I bought the spudger from harbor freight tools but then sharpened and hardened them. The best place to get tools for Chromebooks and phones is Ifixit.Com

No this is not the touch screen version and I don't have any of those so I don't really know what the part number is sorry

I don't, I do use what is left of the tape to restick it

The battery life on these is about 8 to 10 hours, you could do that but we have about a 1000 of these units and can't wait. We have never had one go out on us due to turning on while working on it. If you concerned you could take the bottom off and unplug the battery.

@@BiggieCheeto I get most all of my parts either from Amazon or chromebookparts.com. the Dell screen is the same screen that is used in the Lenovo

I'm not sure I understand your question. If your screen is broken you will have to take the bezel off to replace the screen but I'm not sure what the resetting would do for a broken screen. let me know if I misunderstood your question.

If you're talking about the screws on the bottom rear of the Chromebook, there are three screws that hold the hinges on. One is under the rubber foot on the bottom cover. The other two are under the cover. Those screws are prone to backing out and getting loose to where the screen hinges will flop around when they back out. It also allows the plastic to crack and break. If that's happened, you'll probably need to purchase a new keyboard which will give you one of those screw holders new that would hold your screen better

@@randysdiy2102 the screws next to the screen to take off the cover. The bottom left one like the screen cover is higher than the screw so like the others are right at the surface but the bottom left screw is deeper inside
