This laptop is currently priced around 1,300 dollars. Its biggest advantage for me is a full size right shift key and no number keys. I cannot find anything similar with exactly the same or better specs at this price with a proper full keys keyboard. Razer Blade costs way more. I am not buying Lenovo ever. Asus has horrible Armoury Crate spyware, I refuse to use anything with Armoury Crate. MSI feels cheap as well. HP is just fast food of computer market, they are almost forgotten. I have no idea about Acer, they seem to be a very small player on US market. I would love to get a MacBook Pro, but I need Windows 11 for work and compatibility.
The only two decent players are Lenovo, specifically their Thinkpad Lines, and Dell. Acer is fine but their QC for their lower end devices leaves a lot to be desired.
The optional graphics card is likely what is making the extra noise. I never get one on a laptop. This model without the touchscreen has one of the best anti-reflective screens on the market.
Which ThinkPad laptop would you kindly recommend? .I'm a Graphic designer, and basically looking for 3 main things in a laptop. -Main one, eye comfort /matte screen. -Decent performance. -16" inch. Because there are too many options to select on the Thinkpads, it can be rather confusing. I have some bad eyes and I think eye comfort would be the main thing for me.
i watched your thinkpad e16 gen 1 video, which should i go for, for battery life amd or intel? if amd ryzen 5 or ryzen 7 for battery life ? thanks. i subbed.
Hi, does the Power brick come with a USB-C charging jack only or is there an option to charge via the Power jack and use the Thunderbolt port for connectivity?
@@randommonkey4900 If your budget can stretch to a XPS or Precision, they would be the better option over the Inspiron 16 plus. Also look at the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i Gen 8. (Currently on offer as the Gen 9 has come out)
@@Dovecomputers Lenovo is now a Chinese owned company. I have had serious recent issues with data collection on all internet connected products from Chinese companies. Even little drones and security camera stuff all require GPS access and a ton of personal info to get them working. CCP working overtime on data collection of Americans.
its so annoying i found your video after buying this damn thing, the battery, the noise and the heat is just so pathetic that even my laptop from 2015 felt better. oh well
@@Dovecomputerswhat's a good medium price laptop for music production? I read that single core performance is best but I cant spend like 900 bucks right now.
