Do you reckon this would work fine with sims 4? currently using a MacBook and it sounds like a fighter jet about to take off, so i'm looking for an AIO just for uni work (microsoft office) and sims. I really liked this one so i just wanted a second opinion! Thanks. Great video btw !!!
It should run fine with lower class games like that, try to maintain the tabs opened and the amount of playtime forced on the GPU and CPU at a time. It will work fine if not good if your not playing online or AAA games!
Now THIS looks AWESOME!....I wish more companies would focus on things like this...which can be useful to a content creator....musician...etc. Instead of "folding tech," which when you really stop and thin about it?...makes no sense. This will definitely be on my "Wish List" in a few years when they get a little bit cheaper!.....
@@TheDeathOfLucifer It's not even as much a matter of sense...its PHYSICS. anything with moving parts? Will wear away. you've seen it....I've seen it...everyone has! Cars....from windows to brakes...parts wear out. Now....while you can say....this device is the equivalent of a car?....in that it also has moving parts? The cost-to-benefit ratio is way off So.....you'd pay $3K...$4K.....$6K for a car right?...and even if you have to spend from $250 to $1000 on it...you could honestly say it's worth it's maintenance costs...because when it's 90 degrees with high humidity...you can go from Point A to Point B in air conditioner comfort. The same applies in the wonter....and it eliminated the necessary act of having to gather "busfare" to get around . But to pay this kind of price for a phone who's only "specialty" is that it bends/flexes...isn't smart. Throw in the possible maintenance cost if it brea....no wait...WHEN it breaks...(moving parts....remember?) then you're looking at only a limited set of options...either pay to get it repaired...which we all know WILL be expensive...or else just buy another one...but at what price?... Nah. I standby what I said...this might be a great novelty item? but it's not worth what they're asking for it. Especially with its fragile screens on both sides architechture.....but...someone will buy it....roght?...
Costco has this computer with a 10th generation Intel I7 processor, 16 GB memory, a 512 GB SSD AND a 1TB hard drive with a 2GB graphics card for $1299. Combined with Costco’s free four year warranty if you purchase this computer with the Costco Visa card. This deal cannot be beat by anybody.
Thanks for this review! I have been considering this AIO and this has pretty much cemented my decision. Its so pretty but I'm willing to pay a couple of extra bucks for more power.
I know the date but will this computer be good and durable to mount movies on it, e.g. in a filmmaker or filmmaker 9 program? If I wrote it a little incomprehensibly, I'm sorry but I translated it to Google because I am a Polish who knows English poorly.
I enjoyed the review - I need to pick up an AIO next week and have option of an Inspiron 24-5000 or OptiPlex 7470. The Inspiron has 8G RAM plus dedicated graphics card (2g) and the OptiPlex has 16G RAM with no graphics card. Both have 512G SSD. I will be doing graphic design work, but nothing too complicated. Not sure which to choose between the 2 options? Can you make a recommendation on which to choose? Thanks Andreas
Do you still have this computer? Can you tell me how high it sits off the desk? The dimensions on the Dell site only give the dimensions of the monitor, but not top of monitor to bottom of stand. Also - how high is the camera when it pops up? I am considering the 24" version of this computer. Thank you!
I recently bought this and it will arrive in a few days. So the mouse and keyboard are not usable upon opening? I have to buy something extra? Wish I knew that...
@@JC-do6le It wasn't my video buddy. I'm thinking about buying one. I'm curious about the mouse / keyboard if it doesn't work on opening. Did you have to buy something extra?
@@nickpellatt so the way it works is that the mouse and keyboard come in their own boxes. The mouse has a USB dongle inside of it that you take out and then insert into the back of this PC. The mouse and keyboard both come with batteries that you can use to power them. The mouse uses 1 AAA battery and the keyboard uses 2 AA batteries. Computer runs perfectly! Although I wish Cortana was faster with setting up lol
The price differs between models. The cheapest version is $649, but the most expensive I think is now $1150. It depends which intel core you get, the ram, and the storage type SSD or HDD and how large it is.
Dislike the ports on the back - can’t imagine trying to reach back there on my desk to put an SD card in. Bet that pop-up will break soon! Not a bad set up though.
Where is the new 2020 XPS 27 or will there never been another one? The old one was discontinued a year ago with no replacement. CES came and went and nothing from Dell. What a joke. I'm hoping those dropping prices you see are because they are actually going to come out with a high end Dell XPS 27 that can work for content creators who need to edit 4k video. Right now, unless i wait for the rumored 2020 iMac's that are due out, I'm going with the new HP Envy 32 all-in-one. Would love to see you review that one.
the display is not up to the mark if you are using a better display laptop or a mobile device you are not gonna enjoy this display cause its only 1920/1080 which is not that great for such a big computer.
Update: I bought this computer for work and while the screen is not truly matte, the reflection is minimal and there is no noticeable glare. It's a great computer for my purposes!
Im having a hard time on the camera ,idk how to make it lower/farther..,just bought it for my daughter's virtual class.but sadly, they just see her head..not her half body,LoL..I need a help
Apple products often now go faulty just after the warranty expires and apple support is almost a joke now. Apple need to get back to California and get right out of sketchy china and look after their brand, taking customers for granted is a big mistake. A lot of people are complaining that apple is not the same anymore and Dell will look after them.
I am seriously thinking of getting one of these all-in-one desktop from Dell or others but for sure I'm gonna get rid of wind0ze and put in Manjaro Linux.
FKA Prudence How is the experience? @cim why would you get rid of Windows? It’s optimised already for such - and you have powershell to automate now....
Yeah I looked on the Dell website and I was like, blech, ech, ant' add nvidia graphics to this one, can't upgrade the memory from 8gmb, serioustly wtf in 2021 you can't customize a PC at all with even the basic upgrades. Twenty years ago this would of been unheard of, with no drop down menus to customizeevent he ram or harddrives sizes. And the screen being non-viewable outdoors and the wireless mouse and keyboard are kind of deal killers. Esp. the screen, you can't fix that.
This PC is cheap because basically is the old 2017 model where it has been replaced the CPU with the Intel 10th gen but the MX110 and the WIFI AC/BT 4.2 is anachronystinc in 2020. I'd like to buy it but I'd like to customize some parts (like the VGA) and its color (black would be graet). I don't wanna an iMac clone.
With a 1.6GHz quad core CPU you're not going to be doing much 4K Video rendering. The 2GB graphics are not very exciting. But as a basic computer for surfing the web, eMail, word processing, and spreadsheets it should be fine. It does look nice. 8GB RAM seem slim. These days I would get no less than 16. I'm a believer in Windows Pro over Home but opinions vary. I don't think Apple has anything to worry about. Woof.
If i just wanna Surf the Web then im gonna get me a PC from 2008 for 100$ like wtf dude, i have a Laptop with almost the Same specs, i just have 16 gbs RAM, and i can produce music perfectly, i Clan Play valorant and all that stuff perfectly, i can pretty much do anything
The wireless keyboard and mouse youw ill throw away as garbage. The powerbrick is notorious for dying on these All in Ones, or you get theyellow light blinky of death and no CMOS battery reset will fix it. They are week on expansion with only one SATA port and one HDMI out. Mainly what I want to know is it usable in bright sunlight outdoors, and how well does the integrated graphics handle modern basic not too intensive 3D games.
you cant adjust the brightness on the keyboard from the keyboard and it has no buttons on the computer to adjust the brightness either. That is why I didn't end up buying this all in one computer.
Absolutely ridiculous! Imo everytime I see an All-In-One priced over a thousand dollars I say fuck that I might as well just get an iMac for that price.
Don't buy this AIO, it's almost electronic trash, Dell got a much better AIO with a 65 Watt CPU and GTX 1650, also a standard adjustable base. Dell Optiplex 7480 is your best choice, the price should be the same.
its a shame for such a big size all in one pc they couldn't just build in the AC DC transformer Basically its a laptop stuffed in a 27 inch housing Chipset is laptop Performance will be laptop level Cooling is laptop, bet its noisy as F as well. That's why its cheap It has the wrong specs I'de buy such a thing only if it came with built in power cable proper desktop spec chip set I'de rather have it 1 inch thicker really, who cares if its not thin.. its not a laptop !
