Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 Review 

First time watching her. So nice the way she talk to you like a normal person. Also like how she shows you regular use when talking about the battery using it like everyone else would instead of stating that she ran a test at 150 nits and looping something and it lasted x amount of time. New subscriber as a result of this video.

Yeahh definitely do a comparison of this Dell XPS 13 with the HP Spectre x360 ,the one with the latest 10th gen processor.

Sara, I have been using this laptop for the past two weeks and I am impressed by what it can do for the form factor. My office computer has a dual 24 core xenon with 256 gigs of ram (yes ram). So the type of work I do is computationally demanding. All I'm saying is that I have put this little machine through its paces and it's a workhorse.

Your review of the XPS 13 2in1 was a delight. I just bought the same exact unit from Costco. Great presentation and demeanor. Love it !!!

Does the performance drops when you use battery power only vs connected to power outlets?

Its interesting to see the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 from a content creator angle. I consider the XPS 2 in 1 near perfect in form factor, versatility, weight and performance. I consider it a viable alternative to the surface line, especially if you need Thunderbolt capability. I've gotten so used to the near 4K screen on the Surface Book 1, that I may need the 4K version on the Dell should I upgrade to to the XPS.

I simply love your voice. It makes me calm. 😍

Ohhhh, pressure sensitive pen support? That looks really nice then. I don't want to consider something without the pressure sensitive pen thing these days. That feature looks too nice to not have it (photo editing and drawing, etc).

I bought this laptop a month ago and loved it except the inking (with the Dell PN579X) was really jittery and jagged. All O's and 0's came out with jagged edges instread of smooth curves. Called Dell and they had no idea why. Did you see this at all? I would consider giving it another try if I knew the pen could perform as well as the Surface Pro or HP Spectre pens do.

if you could compare this one with the dell 15 inch 2 in 1 and MBP 16", that would help me out in deciding which to buy.

Look great, would love a comparison with the Dell Inspiron 13 700 Black edition 2 in 1. It's very similar but a huge difference in price with the one you got, at least in Europe

Great review! Can you review the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme when the OLED option comes out? I'd love a comparison between it and the XPS 15 7590. I'd also love a comparison between the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1, the HP Spectre x360 13, the Lenovo Yoga C940 14, and the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga 4th gen. I also think it'd be cool to compare the current 2019 HP Spectre x360 15 with the Lenovo Yoga C940 15 because they're both 2-in-1's with H-series processors. I'm a writer and content creator, so I need a laptop with a comfortable keyboard. I might wait this year for the new Dell XPS 15, the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme OLED, and when Apple releases a MacBook Pro with WiFi 6. I'm also considering getting an ultrabook to work on my book with a 10th gen ultrabook processor for light video editing and working on my novel. Then, I'd get a desktop computer for the bulk of my video editing and gaming, like a custom PC or an iMac. I really like the HP Spectre x360 13, the Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 13.5" with the Alcantara keyboard, and the Dell XPS 13 or Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga with 10th gen processors. How did it export, was it the video editing that made it go quicker because I tried to upload a video without editing and it said it would take 1 hr and 40 min... im wondering why if its the same laptop

Hey there, I got the 7390 2 in 1 UHD+ 32gb 1TB for an absolute steal. Liking the experience so far especially with undervolting CPU and setup of battery profiles . Hence no issues with battery life despite the 4k screen. The main issue I have is that Dell premier color is NOT supported and the "natural" white point is very warm (?DCI P3) I suspect lower then D60. Any suggestions on how to change this? Dell's own Cinema Colour App is super limited. I am working in lightroom and ideally have a D65 point

Great review. I actually bought my machine after watching this last year. I love your channel. I'm curious... have you ever connected an external GPU to your XPS 13 via the thunderbolt port? I'm pretty sure I am going to add one for editing in Davinci Resolve. I have over 2 hours on a 1080 timeline for a film I'm working on, and about to get to color grading, and although my laptop has been flawless thus far just with the internal iris graphics, (believe it or not, it's been solid as a Rock), but I know it's gonna struggle with those node trees that are coming. :) I am using a deck link in an enclosure on one thunderbolt port for my external monitor, I'm thinking of getting a separate breakout box for the other thunderbolt on the other side of the XPS, and putting the eGPU there, but keeping my external monitor hooked up to the decklink so I can trust what I'm seeing while I edit. So two separate breakout boxes... one on each thunderbolt port. Does this all sound crazy to you??? Trying to get the most out of this laptop so I don't have to break down and buy a whole new machine..... Thanks!!

Just looked at the Specs also...with this being an integrated GPU do ya think this can Still do a Good Job of Rendering 4k 30fps or 24fps? or does discrete GPU still matters in the 10th Gen? Plus seeing the Specter up against this would be interesting. I think the HP would give it a Run for it's money.

Set it up to run on the monitor olny by going to settings and set it to screen 2 it's easier than looking at 2 screens in find got my 15 inch version from a 75 inch 4k TV in my living room 🤗 I use it like a second PC got a icore9 chipset in mine

Cool . Thanks. This the one laptop you use to take your notes in pen or using your hand or stylus and than convert to text? While in school can I take notes with this in real time in class. And also have some audio recording feature activated on onenotes as a backup if I forget to take notes. Further does this have a camera in back of the laptop. Camera user...u have in front when u type. Meaning when listening to the lecture it would be cool if we can have not only the audio. But video record of the lecture in real time.
