Brilliant guide, thanks. I've just replaced the brew regulator on my ECAM220 (Magnifica Start) using this video. The way to remove the front panels are slightly different on this machine, but the rest was exactly the same. Getting nice coffee again.
Hi mate, thanks for your video, it was big help to understand how it works. Btw I was able to replace broken part without splitting machine on half. It's possible to get only this broken piece of plastic, not whole part. All what I needed was dentist's mirror, pliers and some simple hooked "pushers" to take off and put back locking washer. Top man! Thanks for this video! Mine brew group was stuck so I couldn't get it out. I found out solution because of these video. Lots of coffee bits was stuck in brew piston. I noticed also that the arm of the brew group is chiped off. Hopefully the arm is possible to buy itself. Do you think it's possible that my Delonghi is not runing rinsing cycle because of it or it's some other issue as well? Water is going through the steamer as normal. Thanks 🙌

Do you have a video on the temperature switches. My machine say” HEATING UP PLEAEE WAIT” and stays on this till I give up and switch it off. Some times I’m lucky and it works or it goes to GENERAL ALARM. I have cleaned the entire machine
Very helpful video! I have a similar problem but the regulator is fine. There is another piece towards the front of the machine, with a spring, that looks like the regulator but is not. It broke on me. Any idea what it is? I cannot find the replacement part! I think it will require the same halfshell effort to replace a tiny piece.
Hi! I have same machine but the issue might be different, it doesn’t respond to commands, if is plugged in, is playing alone: switching on and off, water comes out and in the end I cannot make any coffee as buttons are not responding to orders. What that might be? Thank you!

Hi , there is a better way. Just replace the broken plastic part by removing the locking shim and pin. Easy done. The tricky part is to assemble again. But is possible, took me total of 20 min first time.
Dear Milen (and others), I learnt a LOT of your Delonghi videos, this part was broken with me and i replaced it, now my grinder is only 3 seconds and then stops. What could be reason? Thanks anyone who can help me!
In my machine the piston of the infuser doesn't reach the upper position but stop at 3-4 millimiters from the top: the result is that a part of the coffee ground remain on the filter. Who know which is the problem?
It is this part in the video, the regulator, with it broken it doesn't move the arms on the brew group enough to push the piston all the way to the top.
