I agree, but if his attorneys have violated client-attorney privilege by. disclosing evidence to 3rd parties, she has No choice to remove them as court appointed counsel, or that creates an automatic appeal, if found guilty,, and a trial circus all over again. Do people not understand that Richard Allen's rights are just as important as the victim's rights? Remember, he might be a victim as well. That's the entire point to making sure someone's rights are upheld - innocent people need to walk free. In the event that he is both guilty and he is found guilty, we will never be able to trust the verdict if his rights were violated on the way to convicting him. How is that justice for the families and the victims? There’s no closure in that.
People instantly jump up to get the pitchforks as soon as an arrest is made in a crime this heinous. Everyone gets so lost in putting anger toward the accused, they forget that its a process to figure out what happened. And that everyone has the right to a fair trial and competent representation. I want to see someone locked up forever for this as much as the next guy, but lets not trample over someones right to due process to get there. Just my two cents.

Well she's been trying to get on the Supreme Court and I believe there's going to be sets open in the Supreme Court in 2024 I believe... so maybe why she's trying so hard to hold to this case but I doubt she gets one of sets since her conduct here lately

He has the right to a fair trial and it seems like his rights are being violated. Innocent until proven guilty. Honestly, this whole case is so suspect..not even sure what is the truth. Victims and families deserve justice in a fair and just trial ensuring the correct person pays for this crime!
His rights have not been violated. He will get a fair trial with different attorneys. The other attorneys violated Attorney-Client privilege by sharing case info with 3rd parties, this is an automatic appeal, which the Judge is trying to avoid. We are not privy to everything, let’s give grace to the Judge.
They said they received the photos on October 5th I take it they mean this year but on court tv back on 22nd December 2022 I think they had guy on saying he had received crime scene photos wtf!

Yes, he threw himself at the mercy of the court and was assigned court-appointed attorneys: Baldwin and Rozzi. Then, the judge ripped those attorneys away from him! Even when they tried to come back and work for free she wouldn't let them. Instead, she picked a couple of her buddies from Allen County that RA did not ask for and did not want! Learn what you are talking about! When @reeva5735 was talking, she was writing to people familiar with the basic facts of the situation (which you clearly are not), and the meaning of her comment was perfectly clear to such people! If a defendant asks for court-appointed attorneys, she can pick them. But once that attorney-client relationship is formed, the judge cannot simply sever it at her whim. She can only do so if it turns out the attorney is not an attorney (gets suspended, disbarred, etc.) or if a conflict develops, and even this requires a DQ hearing with advance notice!

But this judge cut out the proper process. Their names did not land on her desk from the system...SHE undercut the system and appointed them improperly! Just because the girls filmed a "guy on a bridge" does not mean Richard Allen is the guy that did this to them. Me and my friend would take pics of strange people and laugh and make stories about them later. The real person that did this left the phone there for that reason. They had a patsy. If there wasn't a picture of a "guy on the bridge" on the phone, my hunch is that the phone would have been thrown in the river. The judge should be removed from this case and RA's attorneys should be reinstated. RA should also be out with an ankle monitor or something. He is not being treated as "Innocent until proven guilty." Quite the opposite.
They didn't just film a man walking alone. We hear and see a small snippet of the clip. (We have known this for years now. It's not new news). More was on that clip, the man directing them to where their bodies were found, and mentioning the man's weapon. So get that part straight before you go on and on with your opinions and assumptions.

The person who killed them might of not known they were being recorded and we haven’t seen the entire video. Also, the police showed us a mash up. The audio and video don’t go together.

Greenlee has no background in criminal law. He's an intellectual property attorney (completely unrelated area of practice)--that's basically the same as being a paralegal. If RA can represent himself, I see no reason why he can't have the lawyers he chose, especially since they're offering to do it for free. The judge has created reasonable doubt for me especially with all the other things we've learned about this case. Judge should be removed at bare minimum
Public defenders aren't lawyers chosen by you. Public defenders are lawyers chosen by the state. They aren't offering to do it for free, it's their job and they have a contract of some sort. That is the bare basics of public defenders and you don't even understand that..... what are you doing here??
@Monica-hv4rf But Rozzi and Baldwin filed back in as pro bono private counsel, so they aren't PDs anymore. They DID offer to do it free. This is even mentioned in the video and filed on the docket.

No way! They're the reason crime scene photos were leaked, and this whole farce has been the defense attorney's attempt to distract from that. Everybody's jumping on the bandwagon and believing them, but there are always two sides to a story.

Richard Allens rights are not being honoured in my opinion. He is innocent until proven guilty, why is Brian Kohberger in court in a suit and tie, no handcuffs and Richard Allen is in chains and whatever else is on him to restrain . There is a huge difference in treatment there.!!

Sadley, The author of Up The Hill and Murder Sheet, are just as intertwined in this whole thing. They received leaked information. The date of release of these crime scene photos are suspect. We need to know when the photos were leaked as apposed to when they were publicized.
Somebody needs to take a hard look at that and go back even a year when some private investigator was on courttv claiming to have crime scene photos. As they say, something stinks in Delphi…

The judge is a joke. Regardless if she is indeed doing the best for the accused, she went about it in a less than transparent way and will be the source of legitimate reasons for an appeal or an overturned conviction. There needs to be justice for the victims, their families, the town of Delphi and Richard Allen. This is not what justice looks like. Very sad. Unacceptable.
Imho, this judge should recuse herself from this case, and a new judge should take over. I also think that RA should be allowed to have his lawyers back and that he is moved from a high security prison to a county jail. In order for there to be a fair trial, RA’s rights need to also be honored.

Huh? They admitted they were the source of the leak. They said they were "snookered" by a close friend that should have been no where near confidential case materials.
For one they were court appointed attorneys not privately hired attorneys and for two they leaked sensitive photographs to the public out of their own incompetence and were deemed incompetent to be his attorneys and for three they quit and four richard allen can't afford to hire attorneys but if he could they would let him hire different attorneys that were not deemed incompetent already to this case!
@@raptorman48That they are appointed counsel usually only matters, re the sixth amendment right, when a client wants to fire the attorney. You can’t pick and choose which public defender you receive. But that doesn’t open the door for the trial judge to unilaterally remove appointed counsel. In any event, that issue is moot because both attorneys have offered to represent him pro-bono, which does implicate his sixth amendment rights. On what grounds were the attorneys found “incompetent”? (She actually found them grossly negligent..) What case law in Indiana establishes that gross negligence is the standard for removal of appointed counsel against a clients wishes? Only one of the attorneys withdrew, and they are on record that that withdrawal was coerced. For someone paying attention, you sure missed a lot.

@22:20 how does the crime scene leak harm Allen’s rights? He had nothing to do with the crime, it would only be prejudicial if he had actually committed the murders making him look bad. Allen’s rights were breached when the Odin guards were eavesdropping and filming his privileged meetings which were supposed to be private. The sabotage of their plan for a speedy trial is what we are seeing now because of that breach of attorney/client privilege. The crime scene photos have no connection whatsoever to do with Allen, other than in the mind of the prosecutor, they were even leaked nearly a year ago originally.

I wonder how many have handled the cell once it left Libby’s hands? What was down the hill? Will the jury wonder if anyone was waiting besides the man on the bridge? It could pose an appellate issue if she let's them back on. If he is found guilty, he could later appeal on the grounds of ineffective assistance of counsel.

This judge needs to be removed per Allen's due process civil rights. He's guilty imo and this won't ever end if the judge isn't removed- the girls deserve better.

There seems to be a complete lack of transparency in Delphi across the board. This is going beyond the preservation of guilt knowledge (which is moot at this point really). If they believe they have the right guy, transparency cannot possibly hurt their cause, only help it. Stop with the secrets in Delphi!

There is so much weirdness about this case, never seen anything like it. I dont know who that judge is trying to protect or who is actually calling the shots in this town but the rot runs deep. I don't know if RA is innocent or not but he deserves a fair trial and he's not gonna get it in Delphi. Somebody needs to get some outside investigators looking at this case.
The sideways slats on the bridge seem to be the same length. Did anyone measure the slats and use that measurement to estimate the height of the bridge guy?
At this point, no one is going to be surprised to see this end up in appeals with a mistrial, if he's found guilty. From the moment it was announced this case would be held there, i knew it was going to be a mess. Too close to home, too many biases, too many opportunities for things to go horribly wrong, all of which possibly result in justice not being served as swiftly and accurately as it should be. Those girls, their families and friends and that entire community deserves better. And Allen, just like everyone, regardless of anything, deserves a fair trial too.

I have been hooked on true crime channels on RU-vid since the couple touring the country in the van on RU-vid Petito case. I am subscribed to this and many other channels. I have recently begun unsubscribing to many simply because of the click bait and useless way many carry on grifting their audience for money. It reminds me of TV evangelist like Tammy Fae Baker. They will say anything to shock listeners for money. Paterone exists for listeners to support their favorites and reminding us is certainly appropriate there's a Red line too. I do believe shows that provide honest reporting and legal analysis by very well established attorneys and other experts is very important for many reasons. One of these is shining light on corruption and keeping the power in check. We the little people are at the mercy of the legal system and all to often totally disadvantaged.
