In the summer of 1959, local boy Danny Zucco and vacationing Sandy Olsen meet at the beach and fall in love. The summer comes to an end. Sandy who is going back to Australia frets that they may never meet again. Danny assures her their love is "only the beginning". We begin at the start of the seniors' term at Rydell High School.

Tres Byron actually in the original musical version Kenikie does sing Grease lightning :)

Tres Byron Danny wasn't even supposed to sing it in the movie. Travolta wanted to but the guy who played Kenicke said no at first but eventually let him.
